It will make reading easier for everyone and it will reduce the unnecessary reading time for many, since I've heard many people nowadays have the attention span of 5 minutes or so. 😅

i already found some of my old a3! x pokemon au headcanons (not a full pokemon au, but if the story in game also had pokemon)

some of these include

yuki doing research ahead of time before he became a registered trainer so that all his pokemon would evolve into something cute

“nothing is more disappointing than seeing yume-nee’s glameow evolve into a purugly. i would have cried if that were me” -yuki to his older sister when he was like 7

yuki ordered ball seals from a different region of japan where they were more common and had more variety. all his pokemon have specially decorated pokeballs

azami asked yuki for some letter seals and tried to sneak them on one of sakyo’s pokeballs that he left in their room to spell out “fuck” as a prank. sakyo caught him in the act

homare absolutely keeps all his pokemon in luxury balls, the man is rich

sakyo’s pokemon are kept in pokeballs. he never really bought pokeballs in bulk since he felt guilty about buying so much at one time as a kid, but the first time he did so as a yakuza lackey he still keeps to this day

sakyo’s gyarados is kept in a net ball. it was given to him by this nice old man from his old neighborhood. he would help the man on occasion when his mom was busy at work and he gifted him a magikarp as a thank you. sakyo was upset at it being practically useless but put in a lot of effort into making it the pokemon it is today

his gyarados loves summer festivals and would help advertise the ginsenkai’s stalls making them a major staple each year

most of azuma’s pokemon are kept in luxury balls. two that are in pokeballs are his umbreon that used to be a family pet before the incident, and his chimecho that he caught as a chingling that followed him around after visiting the family grave

There's a Princess Inside All of Us

Early in the morning, Clowy was picked up at the airport (Puerto Princesa International Airport) by her grandmother.

"Welcome to Puerto Princesa, my apo!"

"Thank you, Dada, it's so beautiful here. Take me for a walk, please." Clowy said

"Of course, your wish is my command." Her grandmother then saddles her onto her back, still being strong despite being in her 50s.

The grandmother and her granddaughter's first destination is Crocodile Farm. It is a zoo where many rare wildlife species are kept for preservation and tourist attraction.

"Wow, dada." It's my first time to see a crocodile, and look, it's so amazing." exclaims Clowy with excitement printed in her eyes.

The second destination is Baker's Hill, a park and playground attraction where baked goodies and delicacies are sold.

"Wow, dada, there are a lot of different kinds of birds, and the air here is so fresh."

"And for our last destination, welcome to Puerto Princesa City Baywalk Park, my apo!"

"Wow, dada This place never fails to amaze me. This place is so amazing, dada. I hope mommy can see this place." Clowy says as she hugs her dada.

After an hour of sightseeing, Clowy and her grandmother decided to eat because they were tired. They went to eat at Kinabuch Bar and Grill, and while they were waiting, Clowy got curious, so she asked her grandmother. "Dada, I have a question. Why is Puerto Princesa the name of this place?" her eyes brimming with curiousity.

"You know, Clowy, there's a princess inside all of us."

"What, dada? This place has a princess?" the petite child gasps "Wow! Dada! This place is so awesome!"

"I'm not yet done with my apo diba, where do we visit in Baywalk? Hmm..."

They walked across the lane for a while.

"You see the statue over there?" points Dada.

"Hmm, yes, dada, and it looks like you. Why, dada?" Clowy asked, "Actually, apo, it's my grandmother." She hung up for a second and shouted out of curiousity.

Her grandmother then proceeded to tell her the story about the legendary name of Puerto Princesa. "There's a princess inside all of us." she starts.

"" Many people are still wondering about what the legend attributes the name Puerto Princesa to a princess-like maiden of rare beauty who roams around the bay at certain times of the year during moonlit nights. At other times, she is seen sitting on a rock on the shore of Parola Beach, looking out to sea, as if waiting for her sailor-love to come home. Puerto Princesa was named after a princess-like maiden who could be seen in the area on certain nights of the year. History says the place was named after Princess Asunción, born to Queen Isabella II, who is my mother, and her consort, Francisco de Cádiz. ""

"When my grandmother suffered an untimely death, the Queen changed the name to Puerto de la Princesa. Eventually, the name was shortened to Puerto Princesa, as it is known today." then the story ends.

"Wow, dada! We have a bloodline of princesses, and now I know why Puerto Princesa is so beautiful because of our blood. Thank you, Dada, for sharing the story of this place. I will never forget my vacation here. I love you, Dada."

Good Morning everyone! ~ Today, we will present the third entry which is "When Love Lasts".

Ah, young love~ These young 'uns are enviable and full of energy.... I want to be young again (╥_╥)

Nah just kidding, what am I saying, I'm the same age as them 🤣

Now then, let's hear what "Elai" has to say about their poem!

"The poem that I made is about a certain person I met when I was 16, which I didn't expect at the time. I am thankful for that and that is why I wrote this poem to express all of my love for her."

And that's it! "When Love Lasts" certainly delivers the feelings of passionate and unshakeable love to the hearts of the readers.

Entry #2: The Story of Palawan

Yahoo~ ! We got our second entry for our blog today everyone! 🎉 and this time, it's an urban legend story entitled "The Story of Palawan".

Sharing my insights here: Reading this urban legend story made me think of the urban legend and folk stories provided for us when were little children at schools . Those thin books were a treat to read for those who were into reading or just bored.

For the story, it was a beautiful tale between friends that ended in tragedy. *Sniff* If the story was longer and had more depth to it, definitely would vouch for Tala and Bulan lol

Now, we will share the thoughts of the creator of this story, J.C!

"When I was a kid, urban legend stories like the Ang Alamat ng Bulusan Lake (The Legend of Bulusan Lake) always fascinated me, entangling me in their compelling world of wonders. In our house, we always had many books stored and as someone who loved reading, it was a treat for me.

Originally, this flash fiction is one that I'd made along with my other story "The Fable of the Lamp" back in Junior High where the other story was about a lamp which was barely used.

For this story, I won't tell what it is about but I hope the readers will enjoy them."

The Story of Palawan

Once upon a time, in a faraway land lived a girl named Tala, who has the ability to heal. A lot of people would seek her far and wide for help to cure their illness.

One day the villagers came to her house while carrying an injured man named Bulan. Bulan came from the neighbouring village on the south, he was hunting in the forest when he encountered a group of wild boars. He stayed in the village until he was fully recovered and during his time of stay in the village for the past few days, Bulan and Tala became friends but their friendship was put to a test.

The day Bulan has fully recovered and immediately went to his home was also the day Tala was taken by a huge bird and as the villagers saw what happened, they tried their best to save Tala but to their dismay they only injured the bird around its stomach that causes the bird to fly slowly as it loses blood. Tala took her pocket knife out and stabbed the bird causing it to loose its grip on her making her fall into the sea followed by the bird as it loses its consciousness. The villagers and Bulan saw what happened but cannot do anything to save Tala for the sea has a strong current waves and is dangerous to sail on. Bulan was so devastated of losing his friend and for not being able to save her on time.

Tala was remembered by the village people as the "blessed girl" who helps the weak, and as the time goes by Bulan would go back to the beach and stare at the horizon longingly, patiently waiting for Tala to show up but knows that day will never happen until one day, the villagers and Bulan noticed a small land appearing on the middle of the sea where Tala fell and later on decided to name it, Tala's Land, but as the time goes by, the name was later on changed into Palawan.

Entry #1: In a Glimpse

Good evening everyone! Today starts the first entry of the 1206 literature collection blog ~

The one we will feature is a flash fiction about rain (not mainly rain, but it does play heavily on the story's dramatic effect) titled "In A Glimpse" which I wrote as an entry for our literary folio last January this year.

Why is the theme of the flash fiction "rain"?

In my childhood, I was always fascinated with the rain. Everytime I look at it, there is this unexplainable loneliness, happiness and nostalgia that flows in me whenever I see rain, that is why I love the rain.

It is beautiful and lonely.

But to be frank, the main reason why it came to me to write this flash fiction is because on 01-10-2023, it was raining hard that day and I could only stare at it while waiting for it to slown down. My mind wandered again and so that's how "In a Glimpse" was born!

Although, I wish we were given more freedom to write these flash fiction stories a bit longer since it felt constricted... but also, it was challenging, so it was a good experience to test us students.

And yes, sad, tragic stories are my forte 😜

In A Glimpse

A young Cuyunon girl from Palawan National School clad in her white school uniform grips her royal violet umbrella tightly under the rain. It almost seem like as if she was a robot, no emotions present on her face, silently staring at the downpour on the road and walking through Rizal Avenue. The traffic light from green turns red by the second and the passerbys kept flooding the pavements and streets, which made unbearable and incessant noise for her.

Suddenly, a kid from the pavement opposite to hers flees from his mother's arms and rushes toward the ball that bounced all the way to the middle of the road. Without warning, a vermillion car that appears out-of-nowhere speeds through the street, the driver appearing to be out-of-control and its wheels screeching making all everyone shut their ears. It heads where the small child is, and the latter only keeps his focus on the red ball. In a panic, the young school girl drops her umbrella and sprints through the heavy rain, reaching her hands out to the child, pushing him so that he won't meet his untimely death. In a second, life flashed before her eyes and all went black.

The last thing she could remember is that her body was hit hard by an object that it felt like she was thrown away and rolled on the ground before lying like a lifeless body, blood gushing out of her skin and bones. A tear drop falls from her eye and murmurs her last breath under the cold, heavy rain, "Is this... how I will end? If so, I'm glad".

For now, yes. However, in the future, that might change. It all depends on the circumstances and if I still have the energy to run this blog. Lol.

Are requests and writing prompts allowed?

Maybe soon but not now as we are busy from school.
