Hello ya'll, I’m Irrelevant86! She/her pronouns. I love the shows: Stargate SG-1, CHiPs, Farscape, Star Trek (both the original and next Gen), supernatural, Dukes of hazard, Bones, Diagnosis murder, Smallville, Arrowverse tv shows, Gotham, 9-1-1, and so many more shows!!! I love to read and write fanfiction. The problem for me when it comes to writing is that I am an adult with a full time job and friends and family and barely any time to write! But when I get the chance to I do write. It just means that sometimes my stories will go months to even years to get updates. But I never abandon a story once I’ve started writing for it/posted a chapter!

Which is why it drives me crazy when I get comments on my fics like “so sad to see this fic is abandoned”. I absolutely hate having people comment stuff like that on my fics!

And unfortunately I’m a stubborn petty person and getting comments like that make me not want to write a fic anymore just to be petty!

Like recently I was working on a new chapter for one of my fics and was like halfway through it. And then I got a comment on that exact fic with someone calling it abandoned. And now I don’t even wanna finish writing the chapter anymore. Partly because of pettiness but also cause I don’t want that commenter thinking that I updated the fic solely because of them and their comment when I was already in the middle of working on the next chapter before they commented!!

Stargate: The Next Generation

My (half formed) idea for a Stargate continuation series.

So it would start off with Jack’s clone (played by Michael Welch), who is now a Colonel in the Air Force, finally being assigned a place at Stargate Command. He’s being given leadership over a new SG-1 team.

The only other person who I’ve decided on being part of this team would be Rya’c (played by Neil Denis) whose taking his fathers place on the team!

Cassandra (played by Katie Stuart) would have followed in her mom’s footsteps and become a doctor. I’m not sure given the timeline if she would be at the point in her career where she could be the bases CMO when the series starts. But I definitely want her to be the base doctor who treats the new SG-1 team whenever they get injured!

I also know I want Hailey (played by Elizabeth Rosen) to be there as well but she wouldn’t be part of the new SG-1 team cause by this point in the timeline she’d have a much higher rank than Jack’s clone. Maybe she’s like the new head scientist of the base.

I know we need at least two other characters to fill out the new SG-1, but I just can’t think of who I’d want those characters to be. Wether they be all new characters made up solely for this series. Or old characters from the original series. All I know is I kind of want both of these characters to be female. That way we can have 2 male SG-1 members and 2 female SG-1 members.

Daniel is now in charge of Atlantis. He cameos every now and then.

Sam is the general in charge of the SGC. She keeps a picture of the original Sg-1, and a picture of Fraiser and General Hammond on her desk. Every now and then when there’s a scene of her in her office the camera pans to show these two pics. (And maybe at the end of the first episode they do a little tribute “in memory of Don S. Davis”)

Jack has retired by this point, he’s living his best life at his cabin fishing all the time, and him and Sam have finally been able to get married!!!! Sam often talks about him and how he’s enjoying his retirement.

Teal’c is the leader of the free Jaffa and makes occasional cameos to help out the new SG-1 on their missions and to just spend some time with his son ever now and then.

Vala makes occasional cameos. She and Daniel eventually got married and she splits her time between Atlantis and traveling around the galaxy causing chaos.

Mitchel is a general now and he’s in charge of the Beta Site. We get cameos from him once in a while whenever the new SG-1 has to go to the Beta site for one reason or another.

And for the new bad guy of the series. The Furlings finally make an appearance! We know they disappeared from our galaxy a long time ago and we were never given an actual reason for that. I’m gonna say for this series they went off to either a completely different galaxy or to another dimension. And now they’ve returned to this galaxy/dimension, and they bring news with them of the new big bad that’s coming. They’ve been fighting this enemy for generations in this other galaxy/dimension the whole time they’ve been gone, trying to prevent it from making its way to our galaxy/dimension. But they’ve failed and the big bad is on its way and this galaxy/dimension needs to prepare itself. But now we have the Furlings here for the rest of this new series helping the Tau’ri to defeat this new bad guy!

Ohh, I just had a thought for who could be one of the two female members of SG-1!!!

Ally (played by Colleen Rennison), the girl that Teal’c met in S2E10 “Bane”!! Maybe like Teal’c kept in touch with her as she grew up, and she knew some weird stuff was going on with the Air Force, so when she became an adult she joined the Air Force.

Eventually she gets picked to join the SGC, and Clone!Jack sees her file in his pile of officer recommendations for his team and recognizes her. He decides to meet up with her and see if she’d be a good fit for his new team! After spending a whole day with her he’s like “yeah good fit, I want her for my team”.

Edit: okay wait after adding this I just realized she would technically be older than Clone!Jack cause she was a teenager in S2 when she was introduced and Clone!Jack got introduced like 6 or so years later. So by the time Clone!Jack finally makes it to the SGC as a colonel himself she’d pry be the same rank or higher than him if she joined the air force straight out of high school! So if she can’t be a member of SG-1 I still think she should be brought back, maybe as a team leader of like SG-2 or something!!

In my ideal alternate universe where the writers actually had ideas for Sha’re and she gets to move to earth, the first thing she does is demand the education the goa’uld so long denied everyone on abydos.

And Daniel is like well of course. We can work on getting you a GED— and she’s like no I want one of the fancy ones like you have. A graduate degree. I know it will take years which is why I wish to start now.

And he’s like well you’ve got a natural talent for language and you already know a language descended from ancient Egyptian, you could pursue Egyptology—

And she’s like no I don’t need one of your credentials to be an expert on my own people. I want to know what your people know. I want to know where you keep your knowledge and help defend it.

Which eventually leads to the adventures of Sha’re of Abydos: student of library sciences.

(Her library sciences degree ends up being helpful and plot-relevant an improbable number of times, but not so many times that she’d have to be a regular on the show. This is still network television)
