🔊 Sound on for the music! I absolutely loved working on “Battle for the Pridelands”! I was tasked with storyboarding every single song in this double-episode, and it was a blast. I especially loved storyboarding the overlay montage songs where we see the Guard protecting the Pride Lands and generally being awesome 🦁🛡

Season 3 of the Lion Guard has premiered! I think everyone’s going to enjoy this final season, Kion and the Guard are growing up fast 😭♥️ Also, who else loves the Guard‘s newest and coolest member, Anga!? 🦅

🔊 Sound on if you want to hear the music! It’s honestly been sooooo long since I’ve done these Season 2 Lion Guard boards, it’s hard for me to share them 😅 But this one is worth the pain! I was so stoked to be working on a song voiced by the incredible @cjack930! This is from the episode “Beshte and the Beast” 🦍

Some more Lion Guard storyboards! This time from an episode called “The Hyena Resistance,” featuring one of my favorite characters, Jasiri the hyena 🐾♥️ I got to work on the song for this one, in which she’s rallying up the hyena troops to help the Lion Guard!

From the Lion Guard episode “Pride Landers Unite!”—This is the beginning of a massive action sequence I storyboarded (a big part of it, at least). The Lion Guard series started to get more and more epic and action-filled as the stakes got higher. It was really challenging to try to find creative ways to deal with such huge animal crowds, of all shapes and sizes and physical abilities 🦁🛡

I realize that I’ve never really posted any work from The Lion Guard! A bunch of episodes I storyboarded on have FINALLY aired, yay! These are a couple of panels I did for the song “Fabulous Dhahabu” in the episode “The Golden Zebra.” It was a DREAM to work on this song because the fabulous golden zebra was voiced by none other than @reneeelisegoldsberry! ✨

Just posting some things from my Instagram: My D&D character Yawyn Sul. She’s a Dragonborn wizard, and is often accompanied by her owl familiar. While she’s used to spending her time comfortably studying or reading in cozy libraries, she’s decided it would be good for her to gain some field experience. She’s trying her best to be a brave adventurer even though she really just wants to curl up with a book at home 🐲

Also, she is just as clumsy as she is smart.

I’ve been re-reading Anne McCaffrey’s Harper Hall Trilogy and it’s taking me right back to my childhood. I love Menolly and her singing fire lizards 🐉🎼
