and??? she looked good doing it!
This is my favorite Natalie scene because it’s so perfectly representative of her character and morals. She buys something from the vending machine and it doesn’t work, so she breaks the glass with a fire extinguisher and only takes what she paid for.
Nat will do bad things to get what she needs (in this case M&Ms lol) but only if she views it as fair and necessary in some form. The machine took her money, so she’s going to get what she paid for, and nothing more. She has integrity. Even after 25 years, she is still the same moral compass she was out in the Wilderness, which is why she is the character most riddled with guilt.
RIP Laura Lee, you would've loved that there were twelve disciples yellowjackets eating the body of Christ Jackie
“Shauna won the idgaf war” she is 40 and still hallucinating her dead homoerotic teenage best friend…. She lost the war so bad she may never win anything ever again
mari is so funny i hope she never gets a backstory or emotional depth. she’s in the woods to cook stew and be a hater. and they’re all out of stew

She has survived an attack on her life and the lives of her brothers while distributing aid using our donations. And now she's gone back to her neighbourhood to see it completely leveled. Everything they've ever known is gone. Please help them. They're close to their goal.
children existing in public spaces is genuinely like. necessary for the continuation of society. it doesnt have to be your kids you dont have to volunteer at a daycare or whatever but you need to be able to tolerate the presence of someone who is learning how to exist as a human and interact with people
please be gentle with yourself while you’re grieving something. sometimes it can feel like you have no choice but to pick yourself up and carry on immediately, but that’s just an unreasonable expectation to place upon yourself. loss and disappointment are painful and they don’t go away just because you have responsibilities or things to do. you’re allowed to feel your feelings and put other things on hold for awhile
Edit 4/7/24: Check out this post I made instead and try and redirect your attention to getting people out of Gaza as quickly as possible, thank you!

You can donate to the Palestine Children's Relief Fund for as little as $1.00.
There is a fee you can choose to apply to cover processing.
Which if you choose to do leaves you with a total of ~$1.35 (USD) depending on the type of card you have.
PCRF has a score of 97% on Charity Navigator.
Adults and children alike are currently dying in Palestine due to starvation. (World Health Organization Link)
The Gaza Strip is one of two places in the entire world that is categorized as Phase 5 (the highest phase) on the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification scale.
So even if you think it isn't enough, remember that donating even as little as $1.35 helps! It's $1.35 they wouldn't have had otherwise. So donate if you can. 🇵🇸
Twigs and Louis Souvestre are my fav duo
