ok I’m going full tin foil hat here, but isn’t it possible that at least one of that two „bigger“ fanpages of hers on IG (daily or updates) are managed by someone who’s employed by her? Not saying she’s got no fans or fan accounts at all (there’s certainly enough idiocy out there) but the level of coordination of all these accounts is a bit sus…how they always seem to know when, what to and what not to post. I never understood what the selling point was about her coming from a racing family. Like who cares? She's not a racer and hasn't done anything of value in that field. It would be interesting if she was a racer herself or if she did anything remarkable like for example Amal Clooney. What really matters is not who your family is but who YOU are. People won't like her just because of her background. And let's be honest, who even remembers her father? F1 is not really a sport that remembers those in the past unless they were really outstanding like Schumacher or if something tragic happened like Senna. Nobody remembers all the drivers and most people like to pretend that scandalous drivers like her father didn't exist in the first place.

Also, do they even count as "racing family"? Her dad is one but he was the only one in the family and then made his son join but he flopped and now is doing other things because he never had the passion for it. I consider people like Max as someone coming from a racing family because his mom, dad and even Victoria did some racing. Not sure if Victoria participated in anything but she raced for fun with Max. They live and breath racing. The piquets on the other hand only have nelson sr. as a real driver. The rest of them are just spoiled brats who don't like to work and live off of his achievements as if they were their own.

That rumor (I think it was a rumor right?) that Ray was put on babysitting duty with K at the last race seems to hold weight because tell me why the Verstappen family were present for the photo taking after the win (and being so cute!) and yet Kelly, who normally tries to be front and centre for those things wasn't at Monza. Was absolutely no where.

Before we start, these are my thoughts/ theories only, nothing is “confirmed”.

Let’s start with the case of:

The Parasocial Minions of KP

1 why parasocial relationships exist?

Parasocial relationships (PSI) is a one sided psychological bond where fans feel intimacy with a public figure who doesn’t reciprocate. In this case, Kelly fans— we’ll address them as Minions— build this relationship primarily with her instead of Max, though they use his fame as context. Which gets you wondering because Kelly isn’t the 4x world champion so why Kelly? Well, she post her lifestyle and intimate family moments (ex: L hitting 100 days), This creates the illusion of Access to fans. Some Max fans may even shift attention to her, because they know she might post max, what he does, and essentially now how he may act with L.

2 Obsession with Children

Many of “Minions” often repost L or P with weird comments regarding what they wear, how they act, or even tiny details about the child. This is blatantly weird and creepy behavior to zoom in on a picture of a baby, and make comments as if you were a family member or a close relative. Many fans have also speculated on how L might look and hope for Kelly to bring her to races, pushing the point that these fans are so invested in that child.

Children are not consenting adults. Treating them as public figures invades their privacy. Studies show children of public figures often suffer identity confusion, pressure, and even stalking risks (Coyne et al., 2014).

Not to mention these children are in the risk of creeps and disgusting humans lurking on Kelly’s page only to watch those kids. It’s disturbing to think about, but it’s reality that many people may face.

Kelly is Aware these fan accounts for her kids exist, and she knows how weird her fans are when posting about her daughters. Many people reported seeing P on disgusting websites, and when people commented about that under her post, their comments got deleted. This makes it appear as she isn’t just aware, but is also complicit in this circus of a show.

Reasons why she may allow this? It’s simple: -

- Kelly easily gets PR leverage: parasocial loyalty to her creates a protective bubble around her reputation. Fans defend her aggressively. Especially when she can easily hide her problematic behavior behind the shield of “good mother”.

- Power impact: Having fans elevate her role in Max’s life (and with his family/child) positions her as central. Many fans wondered why there are barely any photos with max and his daughter, when there are a bunch of her and L. To put it easily, she wants to make it appear as she’s the only one. She’s the center!

- Branding: As we all know, most post of L have been ads and many online have called this out. Kelly thrives on a “family” aesthetic while simultaneously trying to also push the image of “sexy siren” which is funny not going to lie.

Psychologically, this can indicate “Impression Management”. Meaning, Kelly maintains control over her social identity by selectively curating what fans see and later blog/ be crazy about it. This is harmful because not only is Kelly doing this to herself, but Max and kids are being dragged down with the fantasies her fans write.

4 Weird & Problematic behavior

Her minions are overstepping by treating Kelly’s relationship and children as their personal storyline. They act as if they have a stake in family dynamics, which is parasocial overreach. For example, many of her minions delete Danill Kyvat from P’a life often calling Max “her dad” and “his daughter”. Even when Max himself had stated the opposite in the article Sportskeeda. “I’m not the father, that’s not the aim. It’s always very important that she has a good relationship with her own father, which she has. But I see her every day when I’m at home. We get on very well. She’s very cute.”

This behavior can fuel online harassment toward the biological parent (Kvyat) or family members who don’t “fit” the fantasy, which we have seen before. Many of her minions jump to insult Max’s mother and sister for not commenting or posting Kelly, while also harassing Max only fanpages for the same reason. Psychologically, this is obvious Parasocial attachment + “identity fusion” where her minions start to mix their sens of self/ belonging with her family, treating it like a “family unit”.

Additionally, many dangers can arise from the problematic behavior of her minions. Her children can be at the risk of stalking, doxxing and possibly other mental health issues. This behavior also violates Max’s rights as he also have stated before in the article F1i.com. “I just don’t have that need to show my private life to the outside world. … If I’m ever done with Formula 1, I don’t see myself posting very much after that. I just don’t like it.”

Kelly benefits from the protective “fan army” effect. That’s how she keeps her relevance by tying her identity to Max and their family narrative. She doesn’t get as much as engagement when she posts herself, no one cares. But, look at the numbers of engagement she gets when she post Max or the children.

Psychologically, This resembles boundary dissolution – where a figure removes the distance between private and public life, encouraging unhealthy fan enmeshment. This is particularly dangerous because her minions may feel entitled with knowing more private information about her, Max, and the children resulting in obsession. Which I mean…. It’s already happening.

7 Bottom line, final thought

Kelly has calculated all of this exposure, this isn’t some spontaneous thing that had happened. This is a pattern that she had done is continuously repeating. She shares enough personal/ family context to build false intimacy, and allow her minions to fill in and create a picture of “happy family with a good mother”.

Max’s privacy is contrast to her posting. Even during recent interviews her tries to minimize the topic of his newborn daughter, but with kelly posting more and more information about her, the journalist often asks such questions. Non of the drivers in the grid get questions about family, daughters, vacations… it’s only Max. Not Nico, not checo, not anyone with kids.

I wanted to comment on your post about Charles, I saw some people saying the family of Charlotte (if not herself) where the ones who shared the location, time and the rest of the information to the source that filtered, mostly because it focused in her family background and things that won’t be easy to find unless you are too close and know for a fact. And yes I agree the fans should have known better and out of respect they shouldn’t have go to stand in front of the church. If you are not invited to the wedding, you should not go. But I also wanted to analyze while the presence of fans was wrong maybe it was encouraged and even planned by the bride or the groom’s family (if not themselves). Because having leaked too much detail about the wedding (including vogue supposedly covering it) is not normal not even A tier celebrities have their weddings “leaked” like that. Sorry for rambling I just wanted to know your perspective because you did such an excellent job analyzing Kelly Piquet’s Monza appearance.

I agree with you on the location! No one would have known, and to my minimal knowledge, there was no leaks about the wedding before… so this does in fact get you wondering on how the location got leaked.

I just read your post about Monza, it was amazing. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and summarize what was evident for everyone. She was just there to seek attention not even once she looked like she wanted to support Max and Max has been looked so disconnected from that relationship since before the pregnancy announcement.

And yes I agree, he has been traveling WAY more than last season/ year. We obviously know this from the Jet tracker account on Twitter. It is ironic, especially when he always talks about “family time”.

Another thing, there have been barely any new photos of them. Can’t say I’m surprised, because each time they are together its always with a group of a whole ass entourage 💀 that consists of her friends and her #demon family too.

Not to mention, every time her minions repost photos of them, it’s an old one from 2022-2023.

Last year there were a bunch of breakup rumors and even weird timelines… so yes the pregnancy was a shocker not because he will be a dad, but because everyone can see the lack of connection between them.
