rory: sometimes i consider changing my order but i live in constant fear of annoying the baristas :/
rory: peppermint mocha latte?? that sounds magical
rory: they still have it! cute barista guy says they're serving holiday flavors until next week but i think we should petition for them to be served all year tbh
isa: i don't think they'd be annoyed, any time i change mine up they're shocked.
isa: it's literally my favorite and it's only around for a limited time which is utter bullshit if you ask me.
isa: tell cute barista guy i said thank you... snap a sly picture if you can ;-) i'm totally down for that petition tbh, i think other people would be too.
frcddiebowe:
freddie was beginning to regret his choice of making an appearance at the pool party. he had never been keen on parties; and on top of that, he found the whole concept of gathering residents to have them socialize to be completely pointless. sure, he could be found charming through the eyes of certain people, but at this point, with the crowd who attended the party, there really wasn’t anyone he found a certain beneficial interest in. his eyes wandered around the open room for a brief moment – almost as though he had decided to give yet another chance for the party redeem himself from scanning the faces of whom he could possibly either strike a worthy conversation with, or hold chances on him winning a jackpot. but his eyes came to a full halt when it landed onto a figure that seemed all too familiar to him. it was as though his entire being had been poisoned, leaving him paralyzed as he watched the girl from where he stood. it didn’t take long for him to slowly subconsciously make his way towards her; his eyes begging for a better look, for her to stay in his focus, just so he could take a longer look at her – to know that this wasn’t some sick dream. it wasn’t until he snapped out of his trance; the familiar voice assuring him that it was all real.
“sorry,” he muttered softly and rather quickly for someone who doesn’t apologize much, “i didn’t mean to stare.” he cleared his throat, ducking his head down and breaking eye contact as he gave out a sheepish chuckle – fucking fool. he was unsure of how he should feel. a rush of old memories beginning to rewind itself in his head whilst the emotions within him swirled. “it’s just around the corner on your left,” he enlightened, forcing himself to give isabella his best smile; but the results only had the edges of his lips twitching.
isabella was known to the media for being a party child, loving the atmosphere that came with going to parties, letting loose and having fun. it was her scene, where she felt the most comfortable. but today? today she was tired, not feeling like getting up from her chair to socialize. if people wanted to talk to her, she figured they’d come to her. even if no one did, she wasn’t sure she’d find herself complaining about. it was an off day for her, meaning that if everyone left her alone, she’d be more than fine with that. however, that didn’t mean that she didn’t like social interaction. she thrived off of it, especially when it didn't have to do with anything revolving around her job, the movies she was in or the press conferences that went with that. even then though, she knew for a fact she’d seen some paparazzi outside, now, if they were there for her or not, she didn’t know. but she also knew how to avoid them as best as she could. which is why she was stuck to her chair like glue, however, she’d caught someone out of the corner of her eye and it almost made her choke. what she could see of the figure was something that felt all too familiar to her and she knew exactly what that meant. she’d glanced up from her phone ever-so-slightly to peek up at him without being obvious. what was he doing there? did he live here too? or did someone bring him as their plus one? the second she saw him she had this major flashback, to the happiness and pain they both went through and it almost made her want to run.
however, before she could he was standing right in front of her, apologizing for no damn reason. “fredd- i...” she started, taking a deep breath. “don’t.. don’t apologize. i should be the one to say i’m sorry.” she explained, tucking her hair behind her ear as she pulled herself off the chair she was lounging in. “thank you. i- you’re more than welcome to come along if you’d like. i’ll get you a drink too and we can talk. i’m not gonna force you, obviously. i don’t expect you to want to even be around me if i’m gonna be honest with you.”
graysisms:
gray let out another laugh, pretending to tip an imaginary cowboy hat in the girl’s direction. “well, where i come from, it’s just manners,” he replied. he squinted his eyes to try and filter out the sunlight, looking out in the bar’s direction. the pool was ridiculously crowded, but that’s the nature of a party, right? “i have a tendency to apologize to chairs when i bump into ‘em, so y’know. but i am never one to turn down the company of a pretty lil’ lady, especially in pursuit for some drinks.” he offered his hand graciously with a wider smile on his face.
the other’s attitude caused a genuine smile to pull on isabella’s lips, her brow raising at him slightly. “well then, i’m glad you’ve been taught some manners then, sir.” she told him, the grin on her lips growing bigger as she pulled herself off of the chair she’d been sitting in. “i’d like to tell you i’m the same, and i am when it comes to those situations.. but i’m not sometimes. you think i’m pretty?” she asked, finding that a slight blush had crept up onto her cheeks as she took his hand. “a man after my own heart when it comes to getting drinks. i’m isabella, by the way, but you can call me isa.”
what is something in your life that you are most proud of?
“that’d have to be my work, i love being able to put myself in things that i’m genuinely happy about and that make other people happy too. hearing stories from people who have told me some of the characters i’ve portrayed in movies helped them through tough times is beyond amazing and i have no words for any of that. i’m definitely most proud of that.”
weighed down by now thoroughly dripping scrubs, grayson clambered out of the bustling pool, bristling and cold. “ fuck—shit, okay, it can’t be that hard to stop and see whether someone’s wearing work clothes before dumping them into the pool, can it? ”
isa had not been apart of pushing grayson into the pool, she wasn’t that cruel. however, she was among the group of people that couldn’t help but to laugh. slowly she pushed her way past the crowd, stopping directly in front of him. “pretty sure that’s not how you swim, gray.” she teased, eyeing his soaked clothes. “however, pretty sure people aren’t going to complain about the view.”
“ you know what ? i don’t think i can do this. i haven’t been to the gym in almost a year. i’ll probably just keep my shirt on,” carter cleared his throat as he re-adjusted his t-shirt over his shoulders. “ i’m going to get another drink, you want one ? ”
“even if you haven’t been to the gym in over a year, you’re at a pool party! plus from what i can see, you didn’t need the gym to look good.” isa replied with a small shrug. “however, do whatever makes you comfortable.” she continued before a grin pulled on her features. “i’d like more than one so sure, i’ll come with.”
drink in one hand, poltergeist’s leash in the other, adora scanned the group of party goers, gaze searching for friendly faces. her swimsuit was new, bought solely for the party— it’d be a waste not to dip in the pool. abandoning her search, she nudged the nearest person. “ wanna go for a dip with me ‘n poltergeist? ”
isa had been focused on the group of guys that’d taken to throwing each other into the pool when she felt a nudge to her shoulder, quickly turning around to face the other with a small smile, her brow raising at the other’s suit. “wow, you look amazing.. that suit!?” she said before the other’s question finally set in. “i mean, i’ve been told my suit can actually be swam in, so why not!”
“Oh no, actually i think is cute to have a party with the entire village here” she said with that little but mostly polite smile “I just don’t want to go to the actual pool, i’m better here with the drinks and the view” and again, mostly because Nöelle wasn’t such a good swimmer, actually, she was terrified of water, just that.
“i think it’s a bit too much, if i’m going to be honest with you. a lot of people normally creates some sort of drama between smaller groups, but hey, everyone here at least seems to know how to be civil towards each other even if they don’t like one another.” isa replied with a chuckle. “it’s alright, i’m terrified that my suit will get messed up in the water anyways so i’m gonna sit here and enjoy the view with you.”
“… which is exactly what i’d told her not to do, but of course, you know where i find her? in the bathroom, on her - are you listening?”
isabella had a bad tendency to space out a little bit, meaning she’d heard mav’s words, but probably looked as if she hadn’t. “i am! i just- i space out sometimes. let me guess? she was sick to her stomach? sounds like me, if i’m being honest with you.”

grishvm:
kadie scoffed, a sardonic smile on her lips as she listened to the girl’s excuse, “well i suggest you brush up on your comedic skills cause that wasn’t very funny.” at the girl’s offer, kadie raised a brow before narrowing her eyes in slight suspicion. “alright..” she said carefully while giving a slow nod, “that sounds good to me.”
“this is why i’m an actress and not a comedian. think i’ll just stick to my day job and keep trying to be funny to other people.” isabella replied with a small laugh, shaking her head slightly. “i didn’t mean to upset you, i’m sorry.” she continued, a sincere smile pulling on her lips. “i always say that everything can be fixed with alcohol.” she joked, raising her brow. “what kinda alcohol do you like?”
lenxsher:
❝ Your suit looks perfect, even if something bad happens, nudity is natural ❞ Lena hoped that her words didn’t sound weird at all. ❝ Your job? Are you an actress? ❞ Lena rocked back and forth on her heels, finding the conversation amusing, maybe she just needed to talk to someone new to feel a little better. ❝ Agree, a day off is amazing, and don’t tell me, being wasted is my only way to have fun these days, sad but true ❞
“i fully agree with you there, but try to tell that to my publicist and agent who would have heart attacks if something like that did happen.” isa replied with a laugh, nodding her head. “part time actress, full time ‘wild child’ apparently.” she said, rolling her eyes at the title she’d been given from a few magazines. “not sad, not in the least. alcohol makes things better, don’t care if some people don’t believe that.. i do. makes everything more fun. meaning i think it’s time to make things even more fun for the two of us.”
dvvina:
almost immediately upon arriving at the pool house and spotting what was easily more than half of the complex’s population, davina regretted her choice in attending the party. once her eyes quickly caught on to the table overflowing of alcohol of various nameless and cheap brands though, her stay continued to extend as the minutes passed. still, just because she planned on staying a little longer didn’t mean she planned on socializing. she found more than enough content in simply retreating in her own little corner of the party, watching her intoxicated neighbours as they buzzed around in excitement. her personal choice of isolation was disrupted when a girl only a one or two feet away spoke in her direction, irritation coating her words — a concept davina was already extremely familiar with. “a picture of some petite, pale white girl showing off her non-existent tan and bathing suit she spent way too much on.” davina began, turning to face them. “sounds a little overdone, don’t you think ? i personally don’t think it’d sell for much.” concluding her observations, she merely shrugged a shoulder. “the drinks are over there,” she nodded at the direction of the designated drinks table before looking back at isabella. “you sure you wanna risk going over there, though ? who knows — someone just might breathe in your direction.”
isabella was used to being around large groups of people, she had to be. her job required her to be that way. however, it was one of her days off, meaning that she wasn’t being forced to be around said large group of people, instead, she was there by choice, something that almost shocked even her. anytime she normally had days off, she’d stick to her home and curl up with her pets. but hey, what a better way to get to know the people you were living around than a pool party packed with intoxicated people? it wasn’t the most ideal situation, considering she wasn’t as intoxicated as most and that seemed to be holding her back from the ‘social’ reason she was supposed to be there with. “looks like you’re the life of the party wherever you go, huh?” isa replied, her tone calm as possible as she looked up at davina. she wasn’t mad, wasn’t offended and wasn’t upset either, so she simply gave the other a shrug. “you’d be surprised, there are people who are crazy enough to buy numerous photos of me due to my job. however, i was simply joking, didn’t mean to get that reaction out of you. but, i will also say that i didn’t pay for this suit. it was a gift, one i didn’t feel like leaving to sit in my closet and not get worn.” she explained, raising her brow as she put her sunglasses back on her face. “if i’m really that stuck up, i wouldn’t be here right now. not with the amount of overly drunk people who happen to get touchy while they’re intoxicated. that is not something that’s gong to bother me, nor do your attempts to make me feel bad.” she said, shaking her head. “however, that aside, i’ll get you a drink too, if you’d like.”

rory: so i officially go to starbucks so much that the barista knows my name & order
rory: i don't know if i should feel proud or embarrassed
rory: but anyway, while i'm here do you want me to grab you anything?
isa: good lord im glad i'm not the only one that they know... however, i do tend to change my order up some and i think they hate me for that.
isa: proud, most certainly.
isa: yes please! do they still have the peppermint mocha cappuccino? if so, that! thank you!
what's the last song you listened to?
“that would be ‘blow your mind’ by dua lipa, honestly, that has to be one of my favorite songs and i’m so sorry if you hear it blasting from my house! text me if that happens, i’ll make sure to turn it down.”
