ٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحْىِ ٱلْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَاۚ قَدْ بَيَّنَّا لَكُمُ ٱلْءَايَٰتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ

Know that Allah gives life to the earth after its lifelessness. We have made clear to you the signs; perhaps you will understand.

-Quran [57:17]

O Allah, just as you give life to the earth. Give life to our hearts that are more lifeless than the earth because of our sins.

May Allah calm our heart, mind, and soul in regards to what is not meant for us.

May Allah make us from those who are pleased with every decision and situation Allah puts into our lives.

O Allah, please open many doors for every door you closed for us. O Allah, please grant us the best for us.

يَا رَبِّ أَسْأَلُكَ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ كُلِّهِ ،

يَا رَبِّ افْتَحْ لِيْ بِخَيْرٍ وَّاخْتِمْ لِيْ بِخَيْرٍ ،

وَاٰتِيْنِيْ تَشَوُّقًا إِلٰى لِقَٓاءِكَ مِنْ غَيْرِ ضَرَّآءَ مُضِرَّةٍ وَّ لَا فِتْنَةٍ مُّضِلَّةٍ،

وَقِنِيْ السَّيِّاٰ تِ،

وَمَنْ تَقِ السَّيِّاٰتِ يَوْمَءِذٍ فَقَدْ رَحِمْتَهُ،

وَذَالِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيْمُ

O my Rab, I beg You for all good things,

O my Rab open the gates of goodness for me and make my ending also good. Grant me a strong passion to meet You without me facing a harmful affliction or a tribulation which will lead my astray. Protect me from all evils, and whomever You protect from all evils on that Day, You have indeed showed mercy unto him and that is the greatest achievement.

Musa (as) asked Allah:

"o my lord, if a servant says 'O Lord' while bowing down (in worship) what do you tell him?"

HE (Allah) said:

" I tell him 'I am here o servant.'"

Musa (as) asked:

" and if he says it while prostrating?"

HE (Allah) said :

" I say" I am here o servant""

Musa (as) asked:

" And if he says it while being a sinner?"

HE (Allah) said:

" I tell him ' HERE I AM' ' HERE I AM' 'HERE I AM'

Beautiful dua

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْهَرَمِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ

اللَّهُمَّ آتِ نَفْسِي تَقْوَاهَا وَزَكِّهَا أَنْتَ خَيْرُ مَنْ زَكَّاهَا أَنْتَ وَلِيُّهَا وَمَوْلاَهَا

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لاَ يَنْفَعُ وَمِنْ قَلْبٍ لاَ يَخْشَعُ وَمِنْ نَفْسٍ لاَ تَشْبَعُ وَمِنْ دَعْوَةٍ لاَ يُسْتَجَابُ لَهَا

Allaahumma innee a`oodhu bika minal-`ajzi wal-kasali wal-jubni wal-bukhli wal-harami wa `adhaabil-qabr. Allaahumma Aati nafsee taqwaahaa, wa zakkihaa, Anta khayru man zakkaahaa, Anta Waliyyuhaa wa Mawlaahaa. Allaahummaa innee a`oodhu bika min `ilmin laa yanfa`u, wa min qalbin laa yakh-sha`u, wa min nafsin laa tashba`u, wa min da`watin laa yustajaabu lahaa.

“O Allaah! I seek your refuge from incapacity, laziness, cowardice, miserliness, decrepit old age, and punishment of the grave. O Allaah! Grant my soul its dutifulness (taqwaa), and purify it, You are the One to purify it: You are its Guardian and its Lord. O Allaah! I seek Your refuge from knowledge that does not benefit, and from a heart that is not humble, and from a soul that is never satisfied, and from a supplication that is not answered’.”

May Allah overlook your mistakes and overlook my mistakes

May Allah forgive you and forgive me.

May Allah guide you and guide me

May Allah protect you and protect me

May Allah enlighten you and enlighten me

May Allah bless you and bless me

May Allah increase you and increase me

May Allah keep you happy and keep me happy

May Allah preserve you and preserve me

اللهم ألهمني رشدي، وأعذني من شر نفسي

O Allah! Inspire in me guidance and deliver me from the evils within myself

The goal is not Jannah

The real goal is to please our create Allah jalla jalaluhu - Jannah is HIS promise to us

Allah make is easy for us to obtain obedience to HIM and to be content with every condition Allah chooses for us.

وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَعْبُدُ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ حَرْفٍ ۖ فَإِنْ أَصَابَهُ خَيْرٌ اطْمَأَنَّ بِهِ ۖ وَإِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ فِتْنَةٌ انقَلَبَ عَلَىٰ وَجْهِهِ خَسِرَ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةَ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْخُسْرَانُ الْمُبِينُ [Al-Hajj : 11]

(22:11) And there is a type of man who serves Allah standing on the borders (of the Faith  ); is if some good comes to him, he is satisfied (with his Faith), but if he encounters a trial, he turns his back (upon it).  Thus he loses both this world and the Hereafter: this is the manifest loss.

✨This journey of Life can only be travelled once;

So make Tawba for the Past,

Shukr for the Present,

and Dua for the Future...

Because Dua is the one thing that can change Taqdeer.. with the permission of Almighty اللّـه Ta'ala.

Wudhu performed correctly erases our sins

Abu Muslim narrates, “I went to see Abu Umaamah رضي الله عنه  while he was in the Masjid. I asked him if he had really heard Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم  saying,

‘When a person performs wudhu thoroughly, washing his hands and face and making Masah of his head and ears, and then performs his Fardh Salaat; Allah forgives him all the sins committed that day by his feet in going towards evil, by his hands in doing evil, by his ears in listening to evil, by his eyes in looking at evil and by his heart in thinking of evil.’

He replied, ‘By Allah, I have heard these words from Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم more times than I can count.’”  *(Musnad Ahmad)*

Book of ahadith giveaway!

Asalaam Alaykum brothers and sisters, the book that I will be giving away this time is al-Adab al-Mufrad (also known as Imam Bukhari’s Book of Muslim Manners).

So a little background, this is a book of ahadith collected by Imam Bukhari but unlike Saheeh Bukhari, the main focus was to collect ahadith about good manners and morals, it’s absolutely beautiful, everyone should read this book.

For comparison, Saheeh Bukhari contains 7,275 ahadith, while this one contains 1,322; although it doesn’t have the same strict grading system as Saheeh Bukhari.

This specific print of the book is extremely beautiful because of how clean and well organized it is, and it comes with grading and easy to understand commentary:
