i turned a whole 30 (thirty!!!!) years of age today!!

and if being alive for this long has taught me anything, it's that you have to pay special attention to the joyful parts of it, even when you're the kind of person who hates your birthday and always just wants to get it over with. i got to spend today outdoors, enjoying the nice weather and fresh air, i had yummy cake that i helped bake myself, i had rainbow baloons for the entire day (which also felt like completely bamboozling my family 🏳️‍🌈) and i had the two cutest guests that i could possibly ask for show up, too!!

the world is such a mess right now. my own life is such a mess right now!! but i'm trying my best to focus on the positive as much as i overthink the negative, if not more. and live. and live. and live ☁️
