This Camille is exploring the world! Look how healthy and happy he is!!! Keep up like this, dear friend.

You have the opportunity to take him with you in your trips now. Camilles love going to new places, especially with people they're fond of. Keep him in a loving environment! He is so small you could easily put him in your pocket (remember to let him see outside).

Travelling is a great and easy way to keep him calm and cheerful, otherwise you gotta keep him entertained with other activities, and it sometimes takes a bit of work (dont worry though, they're very versatile!) This could also help him find inspiration for his poems.

Be ready to listen to him talking non-stop. Especially if you're going to Italy or Greece.

Overall he seems very joyous and wholesome, good job! He is definitely cute!

What do I think? Well I think a lot of things.

What long, voluminous hair! He used the revolutionary hair care line ™ no doubt. This is amazing, as we know a Camille with pretty hair is surely a happy Camille. You can tell by his face!

Where is he? What is that place?! A Camille of that size can't be placed so dangerously in a void that indefinite. It's not even a nice color. Like pink or green or a little bordeaux. You should fix that, as he may get incredibly distressed after too much time there.

Really, really nice green thing in his head. I assume it's a leaf but we can just call it green thing (as the leaf tale is myth anyway...). Its a great accessory, and so useful too! Camille can use it to remind him of a couple things he likes.

Maybe give him a table too.

Overall? The Camille itself is very cute , but be careful, as he is at risk of becoming not cute. My advice is: place him carefully somewhere else, even if it's a void, make sure it has some colors.

A very serious question (but not really)....... Would it be healthy for me to let my Camille and my Saint-Just date?

Oh, anon, I knew this question would show up one day. Don't worry. I'm prepared.

I already talked about how Camille and Saint Justs behave when being together (you can check it up here), but now we need to dive in even deeper.

So, let's point up how a healthy relationship should look like:

Respecting eachother

Ability to communicate issues

Set boundaries

Making the other feel loved

Now let's see how many matches with our little guys:

Do SJ and CD respect eachother: I mean... at times!

Do SJ and CD communicate: Oh God it would be a mess (i can already see it...CD turning up with the most dramatic things and SJ straight up jumping off the balcony or planning homicide.)

Do SJ and CD set boundaries: Okay I think this one actually has hope to check out.

Do SJ and CD make eachother feel loved: Thats the big question, isn't it?

My verdict is that, maybe they can manage to date. Would it be healthy? No. Would it be entertaining? Yes, a lot. If your Camille is bored it would definitely take most of his days. It can also be a great brain exercise for Saint Just.

But you've been warned, it could be dangerous!

You can't possibly be loved, or appreciated, or even just respected by everyone. It is a truth that is rather difficult to swallow. Not everyone will approve (sometimes not even try to understand) your intentions and opinions, as good as one think they could be.

And that's when you know you have to brave, you have to fight, you have to keep going. And, I think, one of the biggest display of said bravery, is trust, and rejecting that pride that keeps you from trusting someone else.

Don't we all love Camille just because of this? Because he makes us remember trust is a virtue as strong as any other else?

Catmille and his ugly ass micro bangs

At first, I assumed my eyes where fooling me. I rubbed them, and then looked again in disbelief. I could only come to one conclusion: this is the cutest camille ever!

Look at how happy he is! Look at his little :3 face!!!! Look at the pink void in which he's in: no wars, no executions, no rude people, just silliness!

He's comfortable, happy, and cute. That's three strikes. I'm sold.

Also, don't insult his bangs. He cuts them himself. He works very hard. You know how he deals with criticism! Be grateful he haven't heard u from the pink meow void. A camille tantrum is catastrophic, imagine a Catmille one... (he got claws!)

I'm considering getting myself a Camille, but I already have a Saint-Just... Should I try to make them bond? Or is it not recommended?

They may have different opinions in a lot of things, but at the end of the day they will be a boost for growth and challenge for one another!

WARNING: If you get a Camille and Saint Just, you CANNOT TAKE A ROBESPIERRE. They can't all be on the same home, even if loved equally.

Chaos would occour.

So, if you were thinking about getting a Robespierre in the future, you probably shouldn't get a Camille. If you weren't, go ahead, we always welcome new Desmoulins Stans in the community!!!

You can absolutely get a Maxime and a Camille! They are actually one of the most popular pairs in the Camillekeepers community.

It's a really great match for many reasons, including the following examples:

They get along really well, really fast.

Both Camilles and Maximiliens are known for being pretty hardheaded: but don't you worry, because Maximiliens and Camilles just seem to click in the moment they first look at eachother. It will save you the burden of dealing with Camille's swinging tantrums and Maximilien's smashing chairs phase, since they will probably just skip it.

They have a lot in common.

Having shared passions can be a great source of conversation and bonding, and Camille and Robespierre surely can relate to eachother. From going to the same school, they both like many of the same things such as Rosseau, Law, Classic era... Republic! And that brings me to my next point-

- those two together get more creative and productive.

Taking for example the "Republic" point, having a Camille and a Maximilien together will help them create something new for their shared interest , (liberte egalite fraternite ahh) as simple as a motto, as complicated as full organised acts! Of course this doesn't count only for this topic, because those two just bring the best out of eachother in almost every way.

These are the main reasons that pop in my head, but i can absolutely assure you there are many more! You can ask other Camille and Maximilien keepers, or just get them yourself and learn first hand.

I stumbled across this today, and a terribile thought crossed my head:

"My Camille never had to chance to hear a Chappell Roan song! (Or any modern song, really)"

So, I figured I absolutely had to make him listen to her music.

Right off the bat: he wasn't very pleased about the fact this was entitled

"The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess".

And he's got a point! But, as he was already about to write rude reviews about it, I explained that the term is, first of all, a metaphor: this got his attention, as the poet nerd he is. Then I pointed out that the Princess does, in fact, fall, and this calmed him down and he decided to give it a go:

Dear Desmoulins Stans, quick post to say to yall that today was OP's birthday! My Camille was here too (we know he loves parties). He met all OP's friends and helped with the guest's gifts!

We gifted a personalized journal entitled (of course) "Le Vieux Cordelier" and one of my friend even got me a french revolution book!!! Camille and everyone had very much fun.

Today is the one day he will go out all by himself (they grow up soooo fast🥲) take two pistols and a bayonet rifle, and meet his friends there. (ami du peuple spoiler alert?)

HAPPY 12TH OF JULY!!!

Today is a very special day for all Camilles: the speech of Café De Foy turns 234 years old! Who even goes to cafes to drink coffee anymore? No, let's embrace what Camille taught us, jump on a table, and awaken the crowd by our words and passion!!!

Could Camille even drink coffee? He would be too iperactive if he drank it imo

To celebrate, I made pancakes (I didn't have a cake nor the time to make it) but I couldn't successfully carve the numbers so spare me if they're a bit ugly...

Anyway, remember to listen to your Camille's ramble (they tend to talk a lot on this occasion), otherwise they will feel real bad. Mine has already started talking (cute!)

My Camille is Having A Moment. I've heard this happens from time to time- and I thought my Robespierre would have a calming effect, but it isnt working 😢

Is there anything I can do? Should I be worried?? 😨

Yes, you're right, he seems incredibly stressed. But , a good news is that these moments are, as you said, very common!

Camilles tends to have many feelings inside them (what intelligent creatures!), and, sometimes, they let it all out by throwing a tantrum. It can't be avoided, no matter what age, breed, or color, you decide to adopt your Camille in.

In these situation the best thing you can do is FEED INTO IT.

"What do you mean by that??? Won't I need to calm him down???"

I know the procedure can be confusing, especially to new Camilles owners, but let me explain it, bit by bit.

So, Camille freaks out. When this happens the first thing to do is individuate the cause of said feeling. In this case, money. While he is screaming and swinging around (be careful to not get hit by his hair or coat) nod, and agree with him. Then, and only when he is 100% sure you know what he means, you can give him advice.

This procedure can take bit long, depending on the factors, but doing as said, he will always calm down at the end.

Keep him around your Robespierre. Its good company to him. Right now you don't see any difference cause we are just the first stage of the procedure (nodding), but as soon as he pays for his coffee, he will already be halfway to peace.

My Camille seems very happy in the company of his friend Danton. Is he cute?

As I once mentioned, every Camille worth this title really really really enjoys company. In fact, there are many things Camilles enjoys, such as:

Company

Patriotism-ing

Free speech-ing !!!

And look! In this image Camille is doing all of these three things: at once!

It must be a dream for him. And we know, if a Camille is happy, he is also definitely cute.

Just be careful! Danton's leg is just in front of Camille: if he tries to walk, taken by the passion of his speech, he could trip over, and may hurt himself or others!

But overall, it looks like his determination is going through the heart of everyone in the room, like an arrow : just look at that guy that looks like his very soul is fleeing towards him!

Lets just hope the happiness that came from this moment will continue, and nothing bad will happen.

I found a camille with a friend, is he cute??

Camilles always like being in company! The setting looks very comfortable...

...but he hasn't got a chair!!

We know Camilles gets tired of standing very easily.

BUT I'm sure he is a very close friend of his companion, and they surely can take turns (but we gotta ask the expert @istherobespierrecute ? )

Anyway, it's nice that he has gotten help to write his thoughts down. Also, notice how him and his friend don't even need to talk? And they don't even look at eachother! That means they really are on the same level, and Camilles appreciates that.

So, adding all this up, i can say with certainty that this Camille is cute!

Look at this Camille! He looks proud, he looks strong, he looks determined. Its almost the 12th of July too, and here he is, swinging around hats and leaves and coats.

He doesn't look bothered by the hot weather, no, he looks one with the nature and with his surroundings.
