Because some days you want a small private gathering…and some days Arthur and his Knights drop by.

i have now died. of joy.
I don’t think I’ve seen art of an old mermaid (mermatron? mergranny?) before.
I love it!
Oh look it’s the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen
This is really amazing but I have to say, I read “mermatron” not as “mer-matron,” but as “merma-tron“ and I was just like MERMATRON. AUTOWHALES. SWIM OUT. and I’m ruined my brain is ruined I’m so sorry
Photo break:
On June 15, at the break of dawn, artist Cai Guo-Qiang set off a giant white balloon filled with 6,200 cubic meters of helium. As the orb ascended above Huiyu Island Harbour in Quanzhou, China, it carried with it a 500-meter-long ladder coated in quick-burning fuses and gold fireworks. Guo-Qiang then ignited the structure, setting off his awe-inspiring creation called Sky Ladder.

Reenactor throws a spear at a drone
What a time to be alive.
“The medieval warrior, realizing the consequences of his impulsive act, immediately approached the owner of the drone and offered to pay for the damage.
The owner of the drone was so impressed by the brilliant attack that he suggested organizing a competition for bringing down “dragons” with short spears next year.
Drone owners have another year to develop a unique “dragon-like” design for their flying machines.” (x)
I am 100% cooler with this knowing that the spear-thrower realized “oops maybe I shouldn’t have done that” and tried to make it right, and that the guy who the drone belonged to was cool with it
just so everyone knows, this has already been memorialized in a runestone
Everything about this post blesses those involved with a +4 on their next Today is Good Day roll
I crack up every time at seeing that runestone.
plethora
honestly, this means a lot
In 100 years people are going to fail history tests on stuff we lived through.
