GOOD NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
I know the show wonât be as gay as the trailer promises but god a bitch can dream
It was indeed like old times when, at that hour, I found myself seated beside him in a hansom, my revolver in my pocket and the thrill of adventure in my heart.
Adventure!!
The way in which
No matter the adaptation
His gay ass never listens!!!
Heâs upgraded from crawling on the floor to climbing walls
Next thing you know youâll find him clinging to the ceiling
Everyone talks about Pagent's Holmes, and for good reason, but I do not see nearly enough appreciation for his Watson
Look at him. Lounging. I hate him
Just watched the first Soviet Holmes (1979) movie and itâs so fucking funny like what do you mean Watson literally thinks Holmes is basically Moriarty for like half of it
I am scrolling mindlessly on Instagram on a day off work (finally) and I come across a wallet ad and thought nothing about it when I see the cover of the wallet. I immediately went to search if they had what I had in mind and there it was.

The Naval Treaty
âHolmes sat silently, with his head thrown back and his eyes closed, in an attitude which might seem listless to a stranger, but which I knew betokened the most intense self-absorption.â

We all know he wasn't even trying to.
Watson was so protective of Holmes in this episode, it was adorable đđ„Č
When he wrapped him in a blankie!!!!
Agh! I do not have the words to express how much I love them in this episode! đ©·
The Cardboard Box
âAs a medical man, you are aware, Watson, that there is no part of the body which varies so much as the human ear. Each ear is as a rule quite distinctive, and differs from all other ones. In last yearâs Anthropological Journal you will find two short monographs from my pen upon the subject.â
Holmes' two short monographs, like many of his other works, have yet to surface. But at the end of 1893, only a few months before his return from the dead, there appeared in The Strand Magazine a suspiciously anonymous essay on the subject, split over two issues. Titled "A Chapter on Ears" and starting with the immortal words âIt is sad to contemplate our lack of literature on ears,â the first instalment was published right before "The Naval Treaty" and was profusely illustrated with dozens of famous ears.

I would like to draw the publicâs attention to these passages in The Sussex Vampire:
âHe felt there were sides of her character which he could never explore or understandâ - This is describing Robert Ferguson (the client) and his wife.
On the next page, we discover that Watson had, in fact, been a rugby player back in the day. Holmesâ response is this: âHolmes looked at me thoughtfully and shook his head. âI never get your limits, Watson.â Said he. âThere are unexplored possibilities about you.ââ
I find this an interesting parallel between Mr and Mrs Ferguson and Holmes and Watson.
Mr Ferguson feels that his wife is too different from him, and there are too many things about her that he doesnât know and has given up on trying to know, which drives a wedge between them.
Meanwhile, Holmes here realizes that there are sides to Watson that heâs yet to see, but heâs curious and delighted to discover new things about him.
Iâm curious if you guys think this was intentional or not
UGH HOLMES ACCEPTING AND LOVING THAT HE DOESNâT KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT WATSON
I just want to mention that I once saw someone here say that Jeremy Brett was lacking in heterosexuality. And I think thatâs the funniest thing Iâve ever heard. Like, yâknow when youâre slacking off in your heterosexual duties and suddenly find yourself dating Gary Bond????
