✨big art news:✨ If you can get yourself to New York—(specifically Manhattan)(specifically West 20th between 7th and 8th)— you can now see NINE of my imaginary map drawings, including brand new and never-before-shown pieces, live and in person!! It’s been so long and I’m really excited 🎉 . “Mindscapes” is a two-person exhibition integrating the work of Emily Garfield and Kelly Olshan. Both artists create places that do not exist; topographical maps, abstract puzzles and impossible staircases interweave throughout the exhibition. . Working with @kellyolshanfineart was a dream (we’re already talking about future collaborations!) and you have to go see this in person to experience how the works play off and inform each other. The process was more intimate and personal than any multi-person show I’ve worked on, and the result is clearly fantastic. .
