Almost didn't make it to may, I'm trying to finish a drawing a month but forget to post here. Still! Had this one for a while.

Today's Frankelda Day again and since its April, and children's day is celebrated on the 30th in Mexico, I wanted to draw the child versions of these two together in a scenario in which Herneval formally introduces himself to Francisca and there is no induced sleeping or ammnesia in the equation.

I can see both of them as adults thinking every now and then about what would have happened if that had been the case, and coming to the conclusion that had they actually allowed themselves to know each other back then, it would have made both of their respective complicated childhoods a little bit better.

A sketch I made. I've been loving this manga, I think learning is at the center of life, so everything in its artistic construction and storytelling gets to me. There are so many bonds and moments beyond the usual popular romantic narrative and just make me think of the sweetness and tenderness of knowing each other.
