Fact: At 16 years old I mixed up with the wrong problem and got caught in a stolen car with my homie and his OG. Me not knowing the car was stolen I hopped in because I thought it was something cool to do. We were parked in my neighborhood, and some one saw three black men hop into the car and called the policed. First time I had a gun held to my face by anyone. As I stared into the barrel HPD was literally ready to blow my head off if I moved an inch. I was thrown and dragged out the car oblivious to everything , face in the mud as it rained on top of my head with a knee in my back and gun to my neck. That was the first time I was in the back seat of a police car. No questions asked just forced. And the first time I saw the pain on my mothers face.. As of now it’s hard to trust people for me because they will out you in a position that could totally blind side you for their personal gain. I could have spent the rest of my high school years in prison for being guilty by association. Although the neighbors assumption was right about the car, they had no idea that I was innocent. I thank God TIL this day I was just out on probation for a year. Wasn’t my last time in cuffs but the first time sparked a chain reaction. To the young minds you are greater and you don’t have to follow ignorance. Something has been weighting on my heart lately and God has told me to speak about it . These two young gentleman have been sleeping outside my complex for a while now maybe a couple of weeks. And I’ve walked passed them without a second thought so now It’s 4 o’clock in the morning and as I’m walking in the house Something hit me deep. But my Guardian Angel spoke to me and said do something ... To see this breaks me , because I’ve been homeless on and off between 2010-2015, snuck inside a room in Heritage commons at #ClarkAtlanta for a whole summer and semester because I didn’t have no where to go or any money to get my own spot , been evicted and had to sleep in my car behind the McDonald on MLK in Atlanta, slept on the floor of my friends @bdubbeats floor in his one bedroom apartment and @twhite_123 @makindreamshappen couch when I didn’t have a pot to piss in. I gave these guys a blanket and a pillow each, with some good that I cooked earlier today and a drink. And told them that I don’t know what’s going on in their lives but God has them taken care of. ... In life we have to remember that no matter what we have going on somebody out there has it worst.. Be thankful for waking up with a roof over your head, being able to use all five senses and food in your mouth even if it’s a cup of noodles. .. If anybody knows anyplace these guys can go and get proper shelter please reach out and help.. “The purpose of life is not to be happy.
