the Unwitness Protection Program is so insane, actually, because yes, it’s about plagues and strigas and arcane rituals that make the dead come back, but once you remove the supernatural elements, the verismo of their situation really hits you. You are fifteen, and your father forces you into a car so he can scream at you as he takes you deep into the back country late at night. You’re sixteen, and your aging grandmother refuses to accept that something is wrong with her sense of reality. You’re sixteen, and you have to pretend you still know what’s real as your father cheerfully tries to solve problems you aged out of three years ago. You’re fifteen, and you’re the only one who can stop your friend from hurting herself. You are fifteen, and a priest has done something terrible to you that no one will ever believe or understand. When I had started Riptide and was trying to figure out Gill's coloring someone I know irl pointed out that the pink doesn't 100% fit with the blue-green, and I can't help but agree at times. Now having an all pink character with blue-green accents rounds out my Gillion coloring lots. I also just like the way pink and sea foam green look together

The pendant my Gill wears from Aslana is pink coral colored, so the one I gave Pretzel in green to match Gillion.

For some reason I wanted to give her a battle axe, probably 'cause it's a super feminine weapon in my mind. I think it would make for cool combat if she weld this heavy/2-handed weapon, but because she has 6 arms she could have a very unique fighting style with it. So my Pretzel is a STR+DEX based barbarian all for flavor and not actually practical gameplay use >:D
