I feel sad and hurt
I'm So Hurt Right Now I Don't Even Want To Talk To Complete Strangers About it
First Period (could be TMI)
So I want to share this story, but I don't want to embarrass the innocent party, so I will tell you.
On a Thursday recently my sister and I took our daughters (ages 2, 8 and 12) to a children's museum.
We all had a great time and went to our planned luncheon place at our planned time.
We all get settles in our booth.
Just as I am about to sit down, my 12 year old daughter says to me "Mom, I need you to get something from the car and I need to talk to you privately." Almost instantly I am filled with anticipation in what she's going to tell me.
We go to the car and she tells me she just got her period... her first period!
You guys/gals.... I cannot even begin to explain.... I had been dreaming and anticipating this day since she was born and I've been preparing myself and thinking about how I would react... would I gag like I did when I learned my sister started her period? Would I cry because omg she's too young!? Would I stiffen up and become severely uncomfortable like my own mom reacted when I was a young woman?
Well, I did none of those... and much to my surprise and my daughter's near embarressment... I was about to burst with pride and happiness and joy.... for now my very own daughter had an understanding of my monthly struggle and anguish and finally all of her recent outbursts and emotions were explained!
I couldn't stop smiling.... I had the literal urge to tell the complete strangers in the restaurant, although I didn't because I'm not that tactless.
So, I know this has been an issue for basically every girl and woman in every where... but I received my first unrequested and unexpected random dick pic.... and at first I was upset, I told my husband (who wasn't worried about it) and then I began to talk to the guy and now it's turned into this all day guessing game of who he is and how he knows me....
I'm not saying guys should continue to send unrequested dick pics, all I'm saying is, I turned something "sexual" into something platonic. And now the guy and I are talking through this.
That crying that happens to you when you feel a deep hurt that words can't explain yet you have to go on with your day and you don't want to talk to anyone about it and you want them to ignore your tears and talk to you normally when you quietly have rears rolling down your cheeks
Me as a wife: I lulled my husband to sleep by talking to him about my job so I could play on my phone in bed. I feel accomplished.
I still watch the twilight movies
My 12 year old got dumped by her boyfriend today of five months and I have been telling her how she feels is normal (sad, upset, etc) and that she should do her best to focus on herself. So she had me take her to a printing kiosk so she could print pictures of her female friends and sisters to replace the pictures of her boyfriend.
My house is messy and needs to be cleaned, but I am just not feeling it right now
Is this what white humor is???
We have One of these small forks and I'll be damned if my 38yr old husband and ours kids use that thing any chance they get
Sometimes (about a handful of days in a month) I enjoy falling asleep on the couch watching a random series (usually family guy, futurama, south park, etc) with the tv volume low (because really, it's probably the 24th time I've seen the series) and a light soft blanket and all the other lights off in the house and the tick-tock of the living room clock as a gentle rhythmic extra

This is amazing!!
I have to reblog for two reasons:
1)This is actually a good way to get people into reading.
2)That passive aggressive joke in the last one is pure genius.Â
Love this! Let our kids play in the rain and mud at school and childcare!
I have this thing with my personality, that I over react to seemingly unimportant issues and under react to very important issues.
