For those trying to move on
Just went through your soundcloud and damn. That talent. Im in love tbh
Aw thanks for that ✌️
Square One... Is it easier to go back rather than go forward?
Do you mean going back to square one? Or going back to a relationship that you were trying to move on from?
I think in theory it will always be easier to go back to a relationship, because if you were hurt enough to try to move on, then it means you’ll take that person back in a heartbeat. But just because that’s the easier route doesn’t make it right. You have to move on. Go back to square one. No matter how hard that would be.
But just like the song, try to look at the positives of moving on. It’s not going to be easy. It’s going to hurt. A lot. But that’s part of moving on. You have to purge all that negative emotion, all that sadness, so when the time comes, you’re pure and you’re ready for the next one.
To be honest, the concept of going “back to square one” is kind of bullshit. Not because of the end goal, but because of the journey you have to take to get there. Sure, when you get back to square one, you’re free. But when you’re trying to get there, you’re basically lost and you’re not even sure if there’s a predetermined way to get there. You do the best you can without being sure if it is the right way to go.
If only going “back to square one” wasn’t a concept, it should truly be “going to square two,” (but that’s not a thing) because going “back to square one” is very backwards, and it sounds like you learned nothing from it. You’re going back to who you were months ago, when the entire point of a failed relationship is the things that you learn from it and how you improve yourself afterwards.
So if that’s what you meant, I guess the right thing to do is always move forward. But first you have to go back to square one. To cleanse yourself. Or prepare yourself, then go forward from there.
Remember, just like what the song says, “I found hope when I lost you,” this is a transition period and you will come out of this much stronger.
Thanks for that question. :)
best one yet! keep em coming. :)
Damnnn thanks, and I will. :)
i love YOU so bad <333 nicely done on that one. you keep getting better
Wow thanks xx
“Oh my heart hurts so good. I love you babe, so bad.”
I really love this song. For the lucky ones that spent February in the arms of another, or for that budding romance.
Hey i hope you dont take this the wrong way but i hear buzzing on the guitars on Square One and i dont think it was tuned completely all the way.. you sound really good on it though :)
Oh my god I know. I broke a bridge pin when I was trying to replace my strings. Then it was so hard to find a replacement. When I finally did, it didn’t fit!!! That’s what’s causing the buzzing. I’m so pissed. I think the new strings are the reason why they’re out of tune, but I’ll try redoing the guitar track this weekend. Thanks!
Can you make a cover of Fast Cars please!
I’ve honestly never heard this song before, but this is the first request I’ve gotten, so I’ll try my best!
Here’s an empowering song for all the heartbroken people who are trying to let go of a lost love but is being optimistic about the loss.

Another one of my favorites from last year.
will we ever hear your originals again? i got my life from taxi ride and those voice memos you posted a while back lol
I think that’s basically the end goal. I’m posting covers to build an audience kinda. I do have some original material but I’m not motivated enough to record them basically of how hard they would be to accomplish. So for now I’m learning the ropes of recording and producing by myself and then maybe if I have it down, I’ll start recording original stuff on the backburner.
Of all the tracks youve uploaded: which is your favorite and which is your least favorite
Hmm. I wouldn’t say I have a least favorite. I wouldn’t really upload it if I wasn’t satisfied with it by some degree. But the one I’m least positive about would be I Love You Will Still Sound the Same. It’s my first track, and I recorded the very day I got my tools in the mail. I was still trying to figure everything out, plus I had a cough and a really bad cold that day but I was so excited to make something, I went ahead and finished it the same day.
My favorite would be Taxi Ride because I wrote that one and it had a longer, more precise process, and it’s pretty personal and it’s the one that started this all. If I had to pick a favorite from the covers, it would probably be Ocean because people were really telling me how much they like it. If I had to exclude that, though, it would definitely be If I Go. I really changed up the sound of that one from the original and I was really proud of that. It’s also appropriate for something I’m going through, hence why I recorded it. My only complaint is how muddy and noisy the recording was. But in terms of covers I’m the most proud of that one because of how different it is. :)
Thanks for asking this.
i really love the roughness of your voice it's just asdahfbasdkhfdamn
Thanks. Lol. But someone told me once whenever they hear it, it induces itch and makes them want to scratch the inside of their throat. So idk what to believe lmao.
Here’s an acoustic cover of Troye Sivan’s Youth. This is really hard to play on the guitar. Troye’s vocals are either craaazy high or insanely low, I had to transpose to 3 keys down.
