There is something to be said about the fact that the fans of team Black always talk about how misogynist Alicent and the other members of the Greens are but at the same time they say the most vile, misogynist and ableist stuff about Alicent, Larys and Criston. And at the same time they stan Daemon "killed his wife because he wants to marry his niece" Targaryen and call him a feminist malewife icon. Make it make sense....

And the three most insulted characters all experience the full force of the patriarchy in Westeros throught different ways.

Alicent is the daughter of a second son who sends her to seduce the king. She can do nothing against that, he is her father and can do whatever he wants with her.

Larys is the second son of a lord, born with a disability. He cant become a knight with that. Let alone fight. So basicly the only thing second sons are good for. He is not seen as a man in their society.

Criston is a nobody who got to become a kingsguard. The princess pressures him into sexual intercourse. Yes he wants her, but he did not want to have sex with her. Because you know, it could cost him his fucking head if worst comes to worst.

So yeah I'm gonna stan these "weak" outcasts who use their disatvanges to their benefit and stand up for themselves one way or another. 💚💚💚
