Amduscias
The infernal spirit drifted away from her with another step. Something furtive hiding in his dark eyes. His naked feet made no sound on the metal they danced on. Amduscias seemed barely aware of his surroundings and yet knew exactly where everything was. He moved with the certainty of a sleepwalker.
“Would it scare you if I said that you are?” He sang to her from above, in tune with the music. “You are something like dead.”
“ No. ” She knew it should, that the thought she terrify her. But it didn’t. After living for so long it was somewhat welcomed, an explanation of sorts to the years of extensive loneliness she’d endured. Following Amduscias eagerly, Jazz tried to wrap her head around the wispy dancing man’s words and actions. “ How do you know me? ”
As I sit on the top floor Watching the graceful autumn leaves Falling from their home, I can’t help but see you embodied within the colours. I remember you falling. Elegantly. Swiftly. All at once. As I watch from my window, The leaves being swept, By the oncoming gusts of wind, I feel empty. I remember how you fell. I remember how I didn’t pick you up.

Amduscias
The words brushed past him like a scent he didn’t know. He saw the dull mist of her voice twitch in the air, trying and failing to mingle with his own compositions. It looked strange to him, distant. If he had reached out to touch it he would have gone right through the colors of it. Of course that was the case with every sound he saw, but somehow it was not the same.
He couldn’t truly make out her face, only guess at it. She was just a figure in a dream for him. Amduscias, if that was his name, tilted his head and felt his long tangled hair spill as spun silver over his shoulder.
A smile began to appear on his lips as he looked at her, warm and inviting. Then he turned and jumped onto the next car. On top of it he spun around in a flurry of thin white fabric, took two dancing steps and gesture for Jazz to follow him. His music wrapped itself around her in layers of violins and moaning brass.
“I’m Amduscias.” His voice was that of a young woman, sweet and light and floating in the glow of the street lamps. “I know you.”
“ Amduscias. ” She echoed, lost in the warmth and music that enveloped her slight body, drinking it in, her legs seemingly moving of their own accord as she trailed after him, he was otherworldly, addictive in a way.
His smile is addictive and Jazz can’t help but smile back, words spilling from her lips before she can think about it, “ You do? I don’t know you, I can’t, I’d remember someone as ethereal you. ”
She wants to reach out, to see if he’s real, or if her hand would go right through him. His presence is comforting, and his whispy pale form makes her feel as though she’s floating, maybe she is, she can’t tear her eyes away from him to check, “ Am I dead? ”
??
Another leap brought Amduscias atop the hood of lovely silver Corvette. The howling that erupted was easily drowned out by the booming music and then worked into the arrangement. It happened all on its own and he looked on as if he had nothing to do with it.
Each thought he had flew away from him and he watched it go. He couldn’t feel the way his clothes shifted against his skin or the cold wind that got tangled in his hair. Each step he took made him think he would fall into nothingness and never hit the ground, live suspended in mid-air forever, constantly falling. It wasn’t as frightening as it might seem. Amduscias was happy to sing about it.
The approaching sounds of old shoes on the street didn’t change anything about that. It was only when the woman, if you could call her that, caught up with him that the demon paused in his play to stare at her, suddenly straightening up. His eyes were dark and without expression, like an animal peering out of a forest.
She couldn't help but stare back, eyes wide with awe and wonder at the beautiful creature, mouth slightly parted in shock, brushing a blue strand of hair from her face. Whoever this man was, he was brilliant in her mind, he had masted seemingly impossible grace and elegance while leaping from car to car.
“ Sorry, I, you, that was amazing. ” She mumbled, dropping her gaze to look at her well wore shoes, peering up at him through her lashes, “ Uh, hi, I'm Jazz... I didn't mean to, y'know gape at you but that was so... so beautiful and... sorry. ”
