A few weeks ago at traditions, one of the most magical moments in my life. I got to see Mickey, hug him, cry a little and got introduced to this company I love so much AAAAAAAND enter the Magic Kingdom for the first time. My program’s only got a few more weeks left now, but it’s been worth it.

Nótese que eran las 4:50 AM DAY1: Los que me conocen saben lo que significa Disney para mi. Hace aproximadamente 10 años en una pijamada con mi mejor amiga, su hermano me pregunto por primera vez en la vida que si cual era mi sueño más grande, y juro que no lo pensé un segundo al decir: “Trabajar para Disney”, y sonó loco e imposible, pero busqué y contacté como loca hasta descubrir los programas y pasantías de Disney entre ellas el DISNEY COLLEGE PROGRAM! Así que hace como 6 años que no hablo de otra cosa con todo el mundo. Y hoy me voy a vivirlo.

Esta mañana crucé la puerta de mi casa después de despedirme de mis papás con un nudo en la garganta, y yo he vivido temporadas en otra casa, ciudad, país en otras ocasiones, pero creo que fue un nudo de felicidad y emoción al saber que mi destino es uno de mis MÁS GRANDES SUEÑOS y que mis papás están orgullosos de mi. Pero así se empieza siempre, soñando alocado, teniendo una aventura para conseguirlo y después no queda más que dar toda la gratitud y amor.

Gracias infinitas a mis papás por ser como son y estar siempre para mi, gracias a todos los que estuvieron involucrados en llegar hasta aquí. Gracias a ti si me apoyaste, si me diste palabras de ánimo, si me escuchaste cuando necesitaba o estaba muy emocionada, pero sobre todo gracias si eres un soñador y estás en mi vida BECAUSE DREAMERS GOTTA STICK TOGETHER!

Officially accepted into the DISNEY COLLEGE PROGRAM!! . . This is a moment I’d been waiting for really long. I had always imagined my reaction and planned all the things I’d do. Now it’s coming true! This has been a long, serious but also fun process that being accepted makes me feel proud of myself. I can only be grateful with the people supporting me and encouraging to follow my dreams no matter what, as well as the ones who didn’t believe in me or thought this was a stupid dream, for they only gave me even more courage to continue. So I’ll keep looking forward for making magic not only in the program but for the rest of my life!! . . Are you arriving in the spring? It’s never too early to set yourself up for success! Many of you have already accepted an offer for our spring program and will be moving to Anaheim, California before you know it. January seems like such a long time away, but it’s never too early to start preparing

As you know I’m applying for DCP’ CEP this summer and today I received this email offering a pilot program for internationals going to DISNEYLAND!!!! Usually Disneyland is only open for Americans due to its smaller capacity compared to WDW, Disneyland is the only Disney Park I know but definitely the one I fell in llove with first. I was really excited about Orlando yesss, but I could go to CRP there representing Mexico in the future, pluuuuuus California is way closer for me. I live in Sonora, which is a border state with Arizona, so I coul easily take a bus all the way to Anaheim. Anyways, the end of the email says that this opportunity will be discussed during my interview next wee. (Btw I’ve heard Disneyland is even harder to get even for Americans) so I’m thrilled about this new opportunity!!! Let me know what you think or if you have any tips and tricks for me!

Hey! I hope this little insight from my complete guide to the DCP clears some doubts out there. Obviously my process is in Mexico. So if any mexicans want to know more about that specifically let me know!

Hello everyone, I'm Ivana, I'm 25, I'm from Mexico and I'm accomplishing one of my biggest dreams on May 2019 of working for Disney (at Walt Disney World specifically).

I am still in the process and going to the FACE TO FACE interview in two weeks!

I will post more about it and also the previous steps to take. 

If you are curious or have the same dream as I, I hope this is helpful.
