There's this emperor, and he asks the sherpherd's boy: "How many seconds in eternity?"
And the sherpherd's boy says:
"There's this mountain of pure diamond.
It takes an hour to climb it,
and an hour to go around it.
And every hundred years a little bird comes, and sharpens its beak on the diamond mountain.
And when the entire mountain is chiseled away,
the first second of eternity will have passed."
You may think, "that's a hell of a long time."

דֶרְזְ דִּיסְ אֵמְפֶּרוֹרְ, אֲנְדְּ הִיא אַסְכְּסְ דֱה שֵׁרְפֶרְדְּזְ בּוֹיְ: "הַאוּ מֲאנִּי סֵכּוֹנְדְּזְ אִין אִתֵּרְנִּיתִּי?"

"דֶרְזְ דִּיסְ מַאוּנְתֶּיְן אוֹף פּיוּרְ דַאיְמוֹנְדְּ.
אִיתְּ תֶּיְכְּסְ אֲן אַאוּאֶרְ תּוּ כְּלַיִים אִיתְּ,
אֲנְדְּ אֲן אַאוּאֶרְ תּוּ גּוֹ אֲרַאוּנְדְּ אִיתְּ.
אֲנְדְּ אֶבְרִי הָאנְּדְּרֶדְּ יִירְזְ אֲ לִיתֵּלְ בֱּרְדְּ כּוֹמְזְ, אֲנְדְּ שָׁרְפֵּנְזְ אִיתְּסְ בִּיכְּ אוֹן דֱה דַאיְמוֹנְדְּ מַאוּנְתֶּיְן.
אֲנְדְּ וּוֵאן דֱה אֵנְתַּאיֶרְ מַאוּנְתֶּיְן אִיזְ תְּשִׁיזֱלְדְּ אַאוּאֵי,
דֱה פֶרְסְתְּ סֵכּוֹנְדְּ אוֹף אִתֵּרְנִּיתִּי וּוִילְ הֲבְ פֳּאסְדְּ."
יוּ מֲאיְ תִינְּכְּ, "דַאתְּסְ אֲ הֶל אוֹף אֲ לוֹנְּגְּ תַּיְם."
פֵּארְסוֹנֲלִי?
אַיְ תִינְּכְּ דַאתְּסְ אֲ הֶל אוֹף אֲ בֱּרְדְּ.
אֲבָנִים שָׁחֲקוּ מַיִם.
