I don’t know a lot about much. What I do know, is that since my world has been blessed with this small human our entire lives have been different. He’s got an older brother, who is what you would call a “normal kid.” This shug is anything but. He’s been diagnosed with severe ADHD and ODD. He will soon be tested for autism spectrum disorder. If you haven’t heard of ODD, I honestly hope you never do. It’s the hardest diagnosis in children to work with, treat, parent, or discipline, and we’re trying to do it all. He’s the sweetest most loving kid you will ever come across. He will also throw your bookshelf across the room and kick the chairs over, maybe hitting another kid in the process (by accident), and maybe not. There are so many things going through such a small head, I think he’s overwhelmed a lot of the time. I just want to be the best parent that I can be for him, whatever that looks like. People are very judgmental, especially if they don’t really know about these disorders, or if they don’t believe they actually exist. Spend two days with this child and you will know there is something different going on. If you don’t live with it, you probably don’t see it. I just hope that I can be just exactly everything that he needs, forever. ♥️🌎
