idk about hte rest of yall but im gonna be wearing a mask for the rest of forever. im into it. i love not having a face. it’s an essential part of my wardrobe now. would appreciate it if the rest of you would do the same so im not the only one doing some covidcore fashion statement
During my year in Japan I learned the blessing of the mask:
-Slept in and look like shit but don’t want anyone to know? Mask.
-Didn’t have time to/didn’t want to put on makeup? Mask.
-Have a cold and feel self-conscious of others around you while you cough/sniffle? Mask.
-Have a weird kankersore or bad pimple? Mask.
-Didn’t want to exist or be seen that day but had stuff to do? Mask.
-Wanted to go out and not be recognized? Mask.
The great thing was that masks were already a Thing there so no one batted an eye. When I came back I felt weird about doing it. Now that they’re more normal, I’m totally gonna keep wearing masks.
Tbh there was a point where I stopped wearing one on my daily walk, because I wasn’t running into too many people, but now that winter is here I’ve started again. Nice toasty warm face.
in case you were wondering, “owning human remains” discourse is happening on twitter right now

Social distancing but still hanging out with your friends
for real though.

This better be in the history textbooks in 30 years
I fully expect a page with a black and white screenshot of this with some exam question like “describe how this image links to the covid-19 pandemic of 2020”
This one might be my new favorite.
It belongs in a museum,I think
This is utterly fabulous!
a society that allows people to starve when there is food has failed. like. that’s it.
People arguing with this saying, “why do people deserve food for free???” is honestly just further proof of the failure.

You mean to tell me you actually made the armor you shitpost in?! You actually built that?!
I see posts here and there and always thought it was a suit that it was bought.
But you actually made it?!?
There’s no more dragons or monsters to slay so most knights have been demoted to full time shitposters
i feel this
this was made 3 years ago and now it’s funny for a totally different reason

Two men dancing, Harlem, 1920s.
According to George Chauncey’s eponymous Gay New York, the Harlem Renaissance of the ’20s provided an opportunity for gay men to create their own social and cultural spaces within the burgeoning nightlife in the neighborhood.
ohh this is lovely
i mean i like the subject matter, but also, it’s just an objectively beautiful photograph. the composition, the gentle sense of motion, the smile on the dancer’s face, his partner’s face in shadow, the central focus being on their clasped hands… honestly one of the best photographs i’ve seen.
they’re always leaving me behind and i guess i wanted to do it to them, too.
funny how the child doesn’t trust the adults to be able to handle his problems when he’s been fixing theirs for his entire childhood. doesn’t stop me from hoping tho.
