almost like shadowlands and battle lands may have been bad names too
calling the hand lands “shadow lands” is terrible but “battle lands” came out a desperate need to stop the name-that-shall-not-be-used and no other alternatives have caught on

Just finished an excellent game of EDH piloting Queen Marchesa against @bizarre-trader piloting Maelstrom Wanderer, @mimkana piloting Kalemne, and @xeltrava piloting Kolaghan, Storms Fury. The game ended with me Exsanguinating for 19 off of Cabal Coffers + Urborg. Turns out, Exsanguinate is a really good card, but also a cheap way to win. @bizarre-trader had the true victory here doing nutso things with Maelstrom. However, a win is a win, and Marchesa will do anything in her power to obtain the crown. Long live Queen Marchesa! Long may she reign!
Might I add that Exsanguinate is not a card you should play in EDH unless your group is okay with a one-card kill. I personally am never using it again because it is a dishonorable way of winning.
