"Though my soul may set in darkness, it will rise in perfect light; I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night."
RULES
Be kind.
Bigotry is not welcome here. Terfs especially fuck off.
I do my best to respect triggers. Need something tagged, please let me know!
I have the memory of a goldfish and a really low social battery, so I may not reply right away if you message me. It's not personal; please be patient with me.
Communicate! I'm bad at social cues. I won't know if I've done something to upset you unless you tell me.
This should go without saying, but please don't push for personal details. I'll share what I'm comfortable sharing when I'm ready to.
Last but not least, have fun!
Hello! I have lots of names, but you can call me Jack. You can use he/him pronouns for me :)
@boyingray is my wonderful boyfriend and I love him very much <3
Most of my time is spent writing, drawing, and playing video games. I also enjoy reading and being outdoors. A surefire way to my heart is expressing interest in my OCs.
I'm an introvert, and that plus everything mentioned in rule #4 means I have a tendency to vanish for anywhere from days to months at a time. If you leave an ask or a message, though, I'll see it when I come back! (Unless tumblr eats it...)
In terms of fandom, my interests fluctuate often and unpredictably. I do not control the hyperfixation, but I'm usually happy enough to chat for a little bit about just about anything.
Connected to the above, I post art here occasionally, and some of my writing on ao3, though I haven't put all of it up there yet. Check 'where else you can find me' or the 'ao3' tab on my blog for a link!
I collect old keys, seashells, cool rocks, and knives. I'm viciously protective of my family and friends. I have a fondness for space and the ocean, and I love birds, music, and mythology.
I've been described as both a skittish cat and a very traumatized crow, so take that as you will.
I also have an 'about mun' tag if you want to know more!
Tagslist, sideblogs, and more under the cut. (Links are in blue; green is just so things stand out.)
