SNOODLES SUMMER (2025) I finally finished the 3rd short in my Snoodles Trilogy, Snoodles Summer! I'm really happy with how this one turned out. I love the song by my friend Jared Otto, and my wife, Kimberly Boden, helped me film all of the background plates near the LA River, where we currently live. Cheers! - Jackson
PRIMOS: Summer of Las Muralistas (2025) Here it is! This was the final episode of Primos that I storyboarded on the show. It is a very sweet episode about Tater entering a mural contest, and her mom, Bibi, dealing with the fact that Tater is growing up and becoming more independent. Once again I handled the first half of the episode with all of the flashbacks to Tater and Bibi making art together over the years, and then Ainsley Dye handled the back half of the episode including an amazing mother/ daughter scene, and a hilarious Bibi breakdown! It was such an honor working on this show and I'm so proud of what we were all able to create together! Again, Shout out to Natasha, David, Ainsley, and every other person who worked on this amazing show! It was very bittersweet drawing all of the Primos in one big group shot one last time. Also! I snuck in a reference to my little brother with Tater coloring with her tongue out. He used to do that anytime he was drawing or coloring <3 That's all for now! PRIMOS: Summer of "Local Girl" (2025) New episodes of Primos are officially out on Disney+ !!! There are so many incredible episodes in this batch including an EPIC season finally that you won't want to miss! This episode was a lot of fun to make I especially enjoyed storyboarding all of the funny scenes of Tater trying to film her own biopic, with the Primos playing her. Our director David C. Smith @daveofthedead added so many funny jokes on top of my boards and really made this episode hilarious! And my storyboarding partner Ainsley Dye absolutely killed it in the second half especially in the heartfelt Buela and Tater scene in the end! Fun fact I got married the week after I finished drawing this episode, so the scene of Bibi and Bud's wedding was especially sweet! <3 Cheers! - Jackson
PRIMOS: Summer of the Mixtape (2025) New Episodes of Primos are coming to Disney + tomorrow! (Mar 5) I'm so excited for this batch of episodes! Our crew really kept getting better and better as the show went on and there are so many funny and sweet episodes to come! This episodes was produced near the middle of our run on the show and it served as a "clip show" to show off many of the fantastic songs throughout the season and give the crew (and the budget) a bit of a break.
I had a lot of fun storyboarding the funky Y2K inspired DJ Tater scenes with "Radical" exaggerated poses in the hilarious Tater outfit designed by my director David C. Smith! @daveofthedead Look out for this and many other new episodes TOMORROW!!! And I'll be posting more storyboards as the new episodes come out! :) Cheers! - Jackson
PRIMOS: Summer of Segundos (2024)
Back with another Primos storyboard! This one is the Summer of Segundos in which after Tater has her friend Serena take her place in "Primo Pizza Time" eventually all of the other primos find replacements, or "Segundos" until we are left with a group of totally random side characters hanging out by the end (last slide) This was a VERY SILLY script from Angela M. Sánchez that turned out to be a really fun episode! I really enjoyed storyboarding the moody scenes in Tater's dreamscape even throwing in a fun little zelda reference in there! And my storyboarding parter Ainsley Dye did an incredible job with the totally bonkers back half of the episode! Especially the scene when all of the "Segundos" are fighting! Great stuff! PRIMOS episode 19b: SUMMER OF LOS BOTS (2024) Here are some of my storyboards from the most recent episode of Primos, The Summer of Los Bots! (don't worry theres more to come!) This was a very silly episode that I had a lot of fun with. I really enjoyed doing the Tater Ironman suit up scene, the giant mech fight, and of course the adorable robot frog army! You can see in the first drawing there was a joke about cousin bud trimming a bush to look like Gordita that was ultimately cut for time, but the shrub remains in the episode! Bud and Gordita are some of my favorite characters, so this one was a lot of fun to work on! As always, shout out to Natasha, David, Ainsley, and the whole Primos crew!

PRIMOS episode 8a: SUMMER OF NO SABO (2024)
This was a really sweet episode diving in to Tater's self consciousness about being the only one of her cousins who doesn't speak Spanish fluently.
I got to handle all of the "Saw" parody scenes in which Gordita tries to teach Tater Spanish through a number of rigorous trials.
It was really funny beating up Tater with cake every time she got a question wrong, and I had a lot of fun designing the Tater/Cake/Jaba monster with the help of my director David C. Smith.

PRIMOS episode 16a: SUMMER OF LA HAMACA (2024) Yo! This was one of my most favorite episodes to storyboard of the entire show! The whole episode takes place in the backyard on a hot summer day as a demonic Hammock slowly possesses all of the Primos, one by one. Directed as always by the amazing David C Smith @daveofthedead
And the first half was boarded by my incredible storyboarding partner Ainsley Dye! Also I got to work with Natasha Kline @natashakline directly on this one! I did rough storyboards for the inside the hammock fantasy sequence, and then she came in and storyboarded that scene with us! ((That's her drawing of Tater in the Midsommer Flower Dress))
It was so much fun!
PRIMOS episode 4b: SUMMER OF LA NATURALEZA
Yo! Here are some of my storyboards from Primos episode 4. This was one of my favorite episodes we did, and I'm so happy with the way it turned out! I got to do a lot of funny gags in the first half of the episode with Tater failing to survive outside before Cousin Bud shows up to help her out. My storyboarding partner Ainsley handled the second half of the episode and really brought this one home with all of the sweet moments with the puppy! And all of the beautiful moments of Cousin Bud interacting with the animals like a true disney princess.
And as always our Director David @daveofthedead tied it all together and made sure the episode could be as funny and sweet as it is! (He came up with Tater's Po-Tay-Toe shirt lol) Over all it's a great episode! Check it out if you haven't already Cheers!
PRIMOS episode 3a: SUMMER OF LOS DIEZ Summer if Los Diez was the second episode that I storyboarded on. There was a lot of fun stuff in this one! I loved drawing Tater going a little mad after her training montage, and this is the first time we got to draw Pop who is a great character! (voiced by the hilarious Cheech Marin) My storyboard partner Ainsley handled the first half of this episode, including all of the amazing "Cake Island" scenes, and the hilarious training montage with Tater and Gordita! This one is out now on Disney+ so go check it out!
PRIMOS episode 1b: SUMMER OF PRIMOS The first two episodes of Primos are up for free on youtube! Here are some side by sides of my storyboards next to the final frames of animation. This was actually the first episode to go into production so we were diving in somewhat blind. Luckily I had the amazing director David C Smith @daveofthedead And my awesome storyboarding partner Ainsley Dye to help figure out the show together. As well as tons of support from Natasha herself! These are definitely my roughest drawings of the series as I was still figuring out the style of the show and how to draw the MANY different characters, but it's still nice to look back on how we started this project :)

1 WEEK TO PRIMOS! Primos comes out next thursday on Disney Channel and Disney + the next day! I can't wait for you all to see it. :) Here is a little CG Tater head I made while working on the show to celebrate!
PRIMOS (2024) Primos finally has a trailer and a release date! I got to storyboard on this show for almost two years and I'm so excited to see it finally air! It was one of the most fun projects I've ever worked on and the whole crew is so insanely talented! We poured so much heart and humor into this show and I am so proud to have been a part of it! 'lll share more of my work when the show comes out on 7/25 on disney channel! But for now, you can see a couple of my scenes that made it into the trailer!
FROG AND TOAD: MUSIC This was the last episode that I storyboarded on Frog and Toad, and it was a lot of fun to work on! It was a bit of a role-reversal as Toad is happy playing with his band, and Frog is more sad because he doesn't know how to play any instrument. So throughout the episode Toad tries to help frog find his instrument to play with the band. I even got to pre-design the one-man-band outfit that frog wears which turned out really cool in the final episode. Shout out once again to my wonderful Director Katie @troffie and our Supervising Director @sarahjsketches !
FROG AND TOAD, A SWIM (2024) I was so excited when I was assigned to storyboard this episode, as it is one of my favorite Frog and Toad stories! One of my favorite things about working on this show was bringing the original, beautiful illustrations by Arnold Lobel to life through storyboarding and animation! It was really fun storyboarding the moments before and after these iconic moments, and now seeing them fully animated on beautiful backgrounds is such a joy to watch! Shout out to the whole team who worked on this show, especially my director Katie Mitroff @troffie and our supervising director Sarah Johnson @sarahjsketches !
