The third and final batch of the mascot guy for the Brad Neely's Harg Nallin' Sclopio Peepio intros, thankfully. This one is a lot of reuse and claps. The last one is my sole animation contribution to the 2026 Titmouse Showreel, for some reason. My legacy.
The second batch of three of the mascot guy for the Brad Neely's Harg Nallin' Sclopio Peepio intros. Some of them are just reuse of previous ones cropped or flipped.
The first batch of three of the mascot guy for the Brad Neely's Harg Nallin' Sclopio Peepio intros. I don't remember who boarded or came up with the moves. Boy, what was this show? Working on this show was a strange experience. I was one of only two working on it in NYC (everyone else was in LA). It was back at the 27th St location where we had two floors. We were on the bottom floor or "The Dungeon" as we called it. It was during a slower period (not as slow as now) so there were very few of us down there. It was like being on a deserted island in the middle of the ocean. Anyway, I don't remember how much time I spent on all of these, but there are like, 50 of them or so that could be interchangeably placed in each intro. A lot are reused and just cropped or flipped. Incidentally, in the 2026 Titmouse showreel, my only bit of animation is one of these things from batch 3. I suppose I don't really animate anymore.
Just another random doodle page.
I liked the faces for this corny spaceman and alien and this gross inset guy.
So, while looking through my Google Drive, I remembered this. Back while we were working on the season 1 finale, I wanted to see if Ultimate Battle from Dragon Ball Super would sync up, just for fun, so I took this in progress rough cut and tried it out. And I think it worked pretty well! I always wanted to update it with the finished version, but never got around to it. I hope the audio doesn’t get a copyright strike or something. This seems transformative and not for profit, right?
I feel like it’s probably OK to post this now without WB coming after me? Once a long time ago in 2020, I got to supervise some Bugs Bunny animation at Titmouse, and got to animate a few shots myself. I think it was actually also while working on development for Harriet the Spy, maybe? It was for a promo highlighting upcoming theatrical releases. Then the pandemic hit and the project got canned. It was a super quick turnaround (just a few weeks) and a small but talented team, including my good pal @jimgrue . It combined animation with live action. We were kind of the outsource for the outsource I think, so we didn’t have all the assets and the script and audio kept changing, and then it died. But, it was fun. This might have been the last animation I did professionally before moving completely into boards or design, or whatever it is I do now. Looking back, my Bugs was a little chunky. Sort of like that 40’s McKimson Bugs. Oh well. I also kinda preferred my rough of that walk more than what it ended up being. But, it was a super quick turnaround, so what can ya do? Sorry for the shitty audio. And look how twisted his body got. Woof.
My 5 second day for 2026. It’s pretty much the first thing I’ve animated in 3 years (aside from whatever it is I do in storyboards). Burnout is rough. Even in my head, I’d often call myself “partially retired.” But at least I was able to come out of partial retirement long enough to actually make something, even if it’s just stupid random nonsense. It was crazy actually feeling like drawing something after so long. Unfortunately, I kinda fell back off again. It is what it is, I guess. We aren’t machines. We are humans. Though, I guess even humans can break down. Everyone take care of yourself. Watch some porn or something. Unless you’re addicted. Then read a book instead.
This is sooo dumb. I’m almost ashamed.
I finally drew something!
Happy Goku Day! I put him in his gi from the end of Z, just because I'm kind of tired of seeing him only in orange all the time.

And lo, so it was on this day, the day of our Lord, the Rider on the Cloud, Son Goku, hallowed be His name, that He did descend from the heavens and deliver us from the wicked one. Blessings be upon Him. Kamehamehamen.

Another blooper! This time I pulled elements and audio from some other projects that had been haunting me. I don't think anyone who wasn't there will understand, and that's okay.

I don't know why. I can't explain it, but these particular lines of dialogue have haunted me for over a decade. It's probably been long enough that it's safe to admit publicly this was not my favorite thing to work on. I don't think Mattel is going to care. Anyway, I used it in a blooper and submitted that to dailies. It was probably fun.

Superjail! Season 3, ep 307. It's funny when the Warden gets high. He's already pretty trippy, so how do you dial that up even further?
Back in the day, sometimes when I was bored I would make bloopers and submit them to dailies. See if you can spot which one is the real one.
