@gotham-arts said this was tumblr worthy, so I offer up a Dragonslayer piece to the days until V9 and the ride Yang deserves again.
Jaune: Hey Yang, could you come with me for a minute? I wanted to show you something.
Yang: *Looks at her sister and friends then back at him* Uhh alright, let's see what the big deal is. *follows him out, not noticing the knowing smile from Ruby*
*Leading her to the garage, Jaune gets behind her covering her eyes*
Yang: Oh- Okay. A surprise!
Jaune: Well, I couldn't really hide that I was gonna surprise you, but you should still like this.
*Taking her through the door, he pulls his hands from her face*
Jaune: Okay, open your eyes.
Yang: *Opens her eyes, blinking to see a metallic gray motorcycle, new looking but not much else, her hands covering her mouth*
Jaune: I saved up some money and went in on finding this for you. *He fishes out the keys from his pocket, holding them up to her*
Yang: *Stares at the keys, then into his eyes*
Jaune: They didn't quite have your color but I figured you'd just take care of that and whatever other stuff I don't know about with bikes but hey what do you think- whoa!?
*Yang grabs him by his breastplate, kissing him as hard as she can, then crushing him in a hug squealing in his ear* OH MY GOD YOU SNEAKY THOUGHTFUL MAN I LOVE IT!
Jaune: The bike or-?
Yang: YES! *Squeezing the oxygen out of him again before taking the keys and giddily moving to the bike* I didn't know my night was about to turn into this, thank you!
Jaune: *Scratching the back of his head blushing* Hehe...
Yang: Oh man, I'm gonna need some tools again to really dig into this later.
Ruby: Taken care of!
Yang: Huh? *Looks back at Ruby, Weiss and Blake by the door she and Jaune came in, her little sister holding up a tool box bouncing a little*
Yang: Wait you guys knew he was planning this? Did you pool the lien or something?
Weiss: Actually, Jaune insisted he handle this expense himself. The toolbox-
Ruby: We stole it!
Blake: Liberated it.
Ruby: From the Schnee Manor garage!
Yang: *Struggling to hold back her tears* you guys are the greatest...*wiping her eyes she hugs her team all at once*
Ruby: We just wanted to give you something out of all this *She Leans into her sister's embrace* We're all happy to do this for you with all you do for us.
Yang: *Letting her go with a sniffle* Yeah. That's what I love about you little sis. And all of you guys. *Turning back, she mounts the bike starting it up* Alrighty get on Ladykiller, we got joyrides to make up for, I'll be able to figure out all the tweaks I'll need by the time we get back!
Jaune: You got it Yang! *Climbing on behind he braces around her waist with a nervous laugh* I knew this was coming but I don't mind anyway.
Yang: Damn right, you love it! *With the shutters opened, she builds up speed down the driveway and up the street*
Blake: So do you think she'll name this one Bumblebee II or something?
Weiss: I doubt it? Not that I'm the one to ask about naming rides anyway.
Blake: We name our weapons though.
Weiss: You're right but that's different, I think.
Ruby: *Getting a scroll ping, sees a message attached to a selfie of Yang with Jaune holding on for dear life, the camera coming from a tilt suggesting she was in the middle of a drift before reading aloud*
[Dragonslayer almost rides like a dream, a work in progress just like him and I. <3]
Weiss: That has to be the most romantic thing I've ever heard. And from Yang of all people.
Blake: We all kind of surprise each other a lot Weiss.
Ruby: I'm just happy we still can. *smiling*
