New painting commission. The one was interesting because it was based off a 3x5 watercolor sketch that I did while in Europe 3 years ago.
First time using a lot of pallet knives, as well as a gloss medium to help add depth into the layers.

Another painting from this year's Eagle Plein Air Festival.
Speed painting competition during this year's Eagle Plein Air Festival. Oddly enough this competition was all done with photo ref. Oregon Coast. Acrylic on canvas board. 8x10
Another case sketch. Flourless bourbon chocolate cake.
Another painting from this year's Eagle Plein Air Festival. This one too two evenings and was especially challenging cause of course no one started still, but people would finish their drinks/good and leave and would be replaced by others. But it was a lot of fun. Got to talk to a ton of people, and they kept buying me drinks. Which the waiter was kind enough not to care that I wasn't actually in the restaurant's area but leaving over the side rail to drink.
Another painting from this year's Eagle Plein Air Festival, Sawtooth Winery.
Plein Air painting I did during this year's Eagle Plein Air Festival competition for their Nocturnal Paint Out challenge. acrylic
