This group of ethnically diverse musicians from the Los Angeles area is making moves which will showcase a new style and sound that music lovers and hip-hop fans from all around the world will love. The Jalapeño Brothers have linked up to bring a new flavor to the mainstream that will draw people from all walks of life onto the dance floor. Their special blend of hip-hop, funk & soul influenced, club banging, Latin infused hits are a sure way to get the crowds moving and the fans wanting more! The Jalapeno Brothers consist of rappers/emcees Jo Well and Phenomenon, singer Cee Nario, and DJ i.am.JAM. As part of the successful underground hip-hop group “The Antidotes;” Jo Well, Phenomenon and Cee Nario have been involved in 7 international CD releases based in Japan on the Goon Trax/Media Factory record label including two full-length group albums ("LA Lights" & "Beat The Classics"), one solo album (Jo Well's "Beautiful Change"), and four compilations. This musical catalog has spawned countless hits on iTunes Japan, including multiple songs in the hip-hop top 100 ("Got Rhymes" peaked at #6). DJ I.am.JAM has also played at numerous universities and club venues with performances in front of crowds ranging in the thousands. He boasts a stream of shows ranging from large official university events to special events and parties hosted by campus organizations, as well as performing weekly at club venues and special high profile VIP parties all over Southern California. In a desire to push the limits of their success, the Jalapeno Brothers were formed to take their new music to another level. With the spread of social media; various songs, mixtapes, and compilations from Jo Well, Phenomenon, Cee Nario, and DJ I.am.JAM have reached music fans across the globe and have even been featured on television (Telemundo & Mundo Fox), various major network radio stations, and some of the most respected and internationally known hip-hop websites and blogs (2dopeboyz, XclusivesZone, MixtapeTorrent, etc.). Other notable accolades include songwriting done for other artists as well as organizations. Jo Well and Cee Nario, for example, have written for and worked with Taboo of the multi-platinum group the Black Eyed Peas. Also, "Mi Familia (Vota)" is a song composed for a national non-profit organization (by the same name) which is committed to spreading awareness around civic action and engaging those within Latino and other minority communities. This song, along with an accompanying public service announcement, was later recorded and performed by the Jalapeno Brothers on televised news programs and talk shows in addition to several college campuses. Apart from their work in the studio, this is also a very accomplished group on stage. They have shared it with a veritable "who’s who" of the hip-hop world and have been performing on countless stages in the United States--most recently sharing the stage with fellow up-and-comers Dom Kennedy and George Watsky. Now, fresh off of their campaign to mobilize voters in the November 2012 Presidential Election with their song "Mi Familia (Vota)", the Jalapeno Brothers returned to the studio with producer Ivan "Instigate" Pacheco to get their creative juices flowing, the bass jumping and the people moving with their latest hit, "Peanut Butter & Jealousy."

If you don't share the same level of passion for something, you will never understand
“Singers and Musicians are some of the most driven, courageous people on the face of the earth. They deal with more day-to-day rejection in one year than most people do in a lifetime. Every day, they face the financial challenge of living a freelance lifestyle, the disrespect of people who think they should get real jobs, and their own fear that they'll never work again. Every day, they have to ignore the possibility that the vision they have dedicated their lives to is a pipe dream. With every note, they stretch themselves, emotionally and physically, risking criticism and judgment. With every passing year, many of them watch as the other people their age achieve the predictable milestones of normal life - the car, the family, the house, the nest egg. Why? Because musicians and singers are willing to give their entire lives to a moment - to that melody, that lyric, that chord, or that interpretation that will stir the audience's soul. Singers and Musicians are beings who have tasted life's nectar in that crystal moment when they poured out their creative spirit and touched another's heart. In that instant, they were as close to magic, God, and perfection as anyone could ever be. And in their own hearts, they know that to dedicate oneself to that moment is worth a thousand lifetimes.”

wow, almost made me tear up...I couldn't have said it any better myself
Although I knew it could happen, I honestly never thought I'd see Manny laid out like that. What a shot by Marquez. Looks like Pacman will be alright. So does this mean no more Mayweather vs Pacman??

Fresh off of their campaign to mobilize voters in the November 2012 Presidential Election with their song "Mi Familia (Vota)", the Jalapeno Brothers returned to the studio to get their creative juices flowing. After hearing DJ iamJAM play "The Conspirator" by the Quantic Soul Orchestra, the Jalapeno Brothers had to get in the recording booth and lay down a quick freestyle song on the fly! The session was documented on film, resulting in this video titled "Stand Back."
