Upside-down Jelly
The upside-down jelly (cassiopea xamachana), commonly found in the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico, are some of the most unusual species jellyfish. They tend to not float freely but sit on the bottom of shallow water waiting for their prey. Because of this they attack in a unique way, where the jelly releases globules of mucus that contain stinging cells that paralyze near by prey. This is become known as "stinging water." Prey then falls into the jelly where it has not only one mouth but multiple attached to their tentacles.
