Just watched the German movie “wunderschön” (engl: beautiful) about women in different ages and stages in their lives. It’s a beautiful and authentic movie about struggling with being a women, everything that changes with being a mom, the pressure to look pretty and come up to society’s expectations. Short: about patriarchy but in a very common, exemplary and humorous setting.

Karoline Herfurth really set an example on how to make an authentic movie about all the things women are struggling with and for me Nora Tschirner acted perfectly as the feminist who struggled with combining her values and loving someone.

A great movie to think and talk about - I really enjoyed the talks with my mom that I had inspired by the movie.
