Jasmine had told Wes the bare minimum of what had happened before he went off in search for his best friend on Halloween. She couldn't bring herself to say the words that would really distress him—but Bash needed to be worried about, something was terribly wrong with the vampire. "Some really awful things happened, Wes. I'm not surprised he's hesitant to relive them for anyone's benefit…" She trailed off then, realising how hypocritical she would sound if he knew the whole story.

Why he does what he does doesn’t matter to me. All I care about is having this concert run smoothly. And I can be done with it.
