-I know he's trying to list as many details as possible to help her remember, but my god, it’s like he’s writing prose. It’s so beautiful and poetic. The way he describes the atmosphere is absolutely stunning. “Barely lit by too few candles in too large a room…” <3 The smell and the scent <3 A storm came up in an autumn evening…. The way he quoted… Ohhhhh…..
-He mentions she has “the brains of a librarian…” and then describes their first meeting like he’s reading some paragraphs from a book. I love him.
-He talks about her having “that famous photographic memory,” but the way he remembers every single detail of their first meeting is wild, too?? Like, I can’t even remember what I had for lunch yesterday...
-He calls Barbara “Beegee,” and I’m like, what is that? Some boy band? But then I realized it was sort of a nickname for Batgirl? Like how he calls her "B.G." He’s so silly help.
-She lands hit after hit on him, while he doesn't land a single one on her. He doesn't even fight back when she grabs his collar and moves to punch him in the face.
-He says he only remembers the most important things, and that the day he first met Batgirl was important... even though the first thing on that day she said to him was, "You’ll never be Dick Grayson." Hdjsbsnsbdksjdbdjd
-That flashback image of him as a kid in a white shirt, sitting on the carpet and holding a comic book it's so precious.
-The scene where Batgirl says, "Oh, God. Jason," and collapses onto him is so precious, especially since she previously seemed wary of him and didn't really trust or like him. And Jason, look at him, he’s actually SMILING. He’s too precious. I’m going to cry.
-He’s got a concussion but still tries to offer to go along and help her. That’s it. I’m crying now.
