Whats up: Art and Stuff.
So I've been doing an art exhibit this weekend to show off my art/try to sell some. So far I made $25... honestly not bad.
Why? The way the show is set up is its an outdoor exhibit (street side). Everyone sets up their booths and there are 400 of us.
Yeah.

Man for this being life blog,
it's REALLY backlogged.
Last time I was legitimately updating this, I was talking about how stretching a crazy film project was. Lets just say that film project was a LITTLE MORE THAN CRAZY.
(Crazy in how, it preyed on my workaholic side and made me get stretched SO FAR I finally ended up crashing in hospital).
So... yeah.
and not going to lie... all things considered... it was still fun.

Hello AGAIN
Oh my gosh wow. It's been forever. Sorry guys!
My life has been SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO hectic.
Like you don't even want to know, I was suffering from extremely bad migraines which had me living out of hospital and have set me back a bit-
but always look on the positive side: I'M BACK and that's all that matters.
Screw health issues- I'm keeping this blog up.

The weird things I create for art class.
The amount of doughnuts I've been eating recently is slightly outrageous. (btw- that's my hand and I'm holding a paper bag.)
Recently I've been skipping school (10- 15 mins during my first class) to go buy doughnuts. Reason being, I've been super busy and have been going to bed late and I'm NOT IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM a morning person. I never leave myself enough time to eat breakfast so instead I buy doughnuts. Doughnuts for breakfast is rad.

FILM PROJECT UPDATE:
For those of you who've been following my personal progress in setting up for this film contest- for the most part everything is falling into place. I need to contact a few other people and get some props, and one of my main actors is recovering from a cold, but still I think everything's going to work out. ^-^
Now I just need to START WRITING THE SCRIPT.
And yeah, we're filming in less then 7 days.

I have this thing where I'm probably the most sociable, ANTI-social person you will ever meet. Fake it till you make it I guess >.>
I really enjoy people and I love my friends, but I kind of have a "social life" energy meter. If I spend TOO much time around people it depletes and my flight/fight freak out response kicks in.
At that point I NEED to get the heck out of there because I'm pretty sure that if I DON'T,
My head's probably going to explode :P

Here's an old picture I found on my computer from (2011). I really like it and wish I had finished it. It was a comic using some concept characters I was developing; i don't fully remember EXACTLY what they were saying but I think it went like:
Cameron (brown hair): "Dating only leads to TEENAGE PREGNANCY or MARRIAGE, either way it's a lose lose situation."
Via (white dreadlocks): "Oh... Um... Not quite, but okay."
Fun fact this conversation was a real one I had with a friend at the time. Yep my life was/is like that.

So um. Yeah. I'm entering into my city district's film contest and all I can say is:
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!
Okay there you go... well... I guess I don't want to leave this blog post too too empty so I mine as well explain the bit about why I'm screaming.
Pre-Production is NEVER easy. This is the second heavy film project I've had to organize- except this time I'm involving tons of people. (5+ people.)
This part is probably my LEAST favorite part of the whole creation process mainly because I hate/ feel guilty asking people for things :P
To be honest, I'm not used to asking for favors because I don't like to bother people.So whenever I've asked someone for help on this project I've been like:
ME ON THE OUTSIDE: Hey! I'm working on this super cool film for a contest and to build my portfolio. You're a cool person and I think you'd enjoy it and it would be fun! :3
But my internal dialogue be like:
ME ON THE INSIDE: X.X please don't hate me, but, do you think you can help me by acting/helping me with my film? I'm sorry if I'm asking too much BUT I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP. Please! Please! Please! PS: don't eat my soul. > - <
I really need to stop being so socially awkward. Like seriously I get mini tummy butterfly hurricanes every time I have to put myself in social situations; it's kind of inconvenient :P lol

[March 3rd EDIT: If you read my previous blog entry I went on about the film contest I wanted to enter and two ideas that I wanted to do. Both of those ideas fell through so instead I'm working on a plan C. I'm going to be doing a shoot very soon so stay tuned because for sure I'll blog about it :3]

Have you ever had such a bad day you felt like hiding under a desk and just hibernating? (If yes, then we're on the same page. If no, that's okay, I give you permission to laugh at my misfortune.)
*sigh*
Okay, so today went horrible. I'll explain why in a moment. Still, one of the worst parts was when someone asked me what was wrong. When I told them they laughed and rolled their eyes. Inside my head I was like:
"WHAT THE ****!?!? YOU'RE A TERRIBLE PERSON!!!"
I was about to give them a piece of my mind, but then I remembered I was dealing with an adult and went: yep... NOPE. ( I get in trouble enough as it is > - >.) So I had to let this one go.
The reason why my day was so horrible was due to the following:
1. Even though I moved over 6 months ago, I still feel homesick. (I miss my old friends.)
2. I am stuck between doing two video projects and doing NO video projects:
I want to make a short film but my main actor dropped out on me and I feel kind of massively disappointed. :,(
I want to make a mini documentary but feel like I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place ( I want to shoot at my school but possible legalities and my social awkwardness is getting in the way >.>)
3. I really want to enter into a film contest that my city district is putting together BUT CAN'T if I can't put together a video project ie. ^^^ read above.
4. I really need to bounce ideas off of someone but since film making is a niche thing, and I'm a niche person, I really don't feel like I have anyone to relate to or talk to >.> (Don't get me wrong I have a bunch of friends, it's just that none of my friends are into what I'm into, and as a creator/film maker it's difficult not having anyone to relate to ie. no actors, no people to help me shoot, no writers etc.)
Dang First World Problems. >.>)
AND last but not least.
5. My work called. One of my managers contacted me saying that I was 20 minutes late for my shift. Apparently I was supposed to show up for my FIRST SHIFT EVER today, but never received any information about this. Tomorrow I'm supposed to show up (4 or 5 I can't remember what she said because her side of the call was noisy >.<). Now for my FIRST EVER working day, my boss is going to be MORE than pissed.
Why does EVERYTHING have to SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!!!!
Also. My favorite character in the anime I'm watching just died. WHY Ryuzaki WHY!!!!! I LOVED YOU! You were the only reason to watch the series! :,<
Don't worry. I'll eventually figure everything out and eventually get over it :P.
Fun fact: at school I'm too much of a nerd to chill with the cool kids, but too normal to hang out with the nerds. Actually to think of it, it’ not the popular kids I’m concerned about, IT'S THE HARDCORE NERDS. I LITERALLY GET PICKED ON BY NERDS. It's like they're pissed off at me because we share similar interests *-* I really don't understand the dynamics of high school children sometimes.
