Hey there!

I’m Jaybird. I’m 22 and I’m a passionate artist.

A REAL artist, that is.

I made this blog because I really hate AI and I’m sick and tired of it’s extreme popularity.

I’m tired of every company treating it like it’s diamonds.

I’m tired of people thinking it’s a perfect replacement for hard working people.

And I’m REALLY tired of people using AI to make art instead of getting off their asses and bothering to draw themselves.

So that’s why I made this blog, to bash on AI and it’s stupidity.

DuckDuckGo's new search feature comes as the internet is being flooded with AI-generated slop.

Another tip for DDG - if you want to permanently get rid of DDG's AI features (which you can turn off in settings, but only temporarily) - for now you can just use noai.duckduckgo.com as your search engine. Works as advertised in the name.

I'm getting so fed up clicking on a thumbnail of what I think is a cool illustration but then it says 'AI modified '. I'm fed up seeing stickers or mugs with AI art getting sold at local markets next to someone's paintings or crafts or textiles they created with their own hands. I can't tell what's real any more online and it's making me crazy. I know this is a moot/sooky post but the internet has been an escape for so long and with all the ads and AI art it's becoming unusable. It sucks up so much energy and it's sucking the soul out of art and writing. Everybody pick up crayons and yarn and styluses and make damn art. 💢
