So the more characters the better since I need background characters but also for the town to sort of feel lived in

I was struggling so much with the arms, that's what I get for not using reference since the beginning

I ALWAYS try to draw a complex pose or a pose in forced perspective thiking I won't be able to find any good reference and then I realise I need at least something only to go searching for hours because I didn't bother to in the first place and now I have to make it work with my specific vision T.T

My name is Ahlam

I am a Palestinian mother of five children as well as a wife and daughter. Until last October, I was living a regular, stable life with my husband, children, immediate family, and in-laws.

er 7th of October, my life turned upside down due to the war on Gaza. On the night of October the neighborhood we lived in Gaza – the neighborhood where my children grew up and where we started our family – was completely bombed.

Unfortunately, the bombing was severe, and snipers were targeting anyone attempting to leave their homes. A neighboring house was bombed, and our house was severely damaged. We were trapped inside, and my husband, children, and I were rescued from under the rubble and shattered glass. That night, my children and I witnessed unimaginable things From harsh things and scenes.

We moved to the south and now live in a tent without the most basic necessities of life, me, my children, my husband and my sick mother.

We have lost everything we own, and we cannot buy food or water or even educate my children now. Unfortunately, our lives have become very harsh after this unjust war against us.

recently my friend's comics professor told her that it's acceptable to use gen AI for script-writing but not for art, since a machine can't generate meaningful artistic work. meanwhile, my sister's screenwriting professor said that they can use gen AI for concept art and visualization, but that it won't be able to generate a script that's any good. and at my job, it seems like each department says that AI can be useful in every field except the one that they know best.

It's only ever the jobs we're unfamiliar with that we assume can be replaced with automation. The more attuned we are with certain processes, crafts, and occupations, the more we realize that gen AI will never be able to provide a suitable replacement. The case for its existence lies on our ignorance of the work and skill required to do everything we don't.
