WHEN THE PROPRIETOR OF THIS BLOG WAS A CHILD, THE KITCHEN LED INTO THE DINING ROOM, WHICH LED INTO THE LIVING ROOM, WHICH LEAD INTO THE FRONT HALLWAY, WHICH LED BACK INTO THE KITCHEN, SO WHEN THE CATS WERE HUNGRY, THEY WOULD CHECK THEIR BOWLS, SEE THAT THEY WERE EMPTY, AND WALK ALL THE WAY AROUND THE HOUSE TO SEE IF THE OTHER BOWLS IN THE OTHER KITCHEN WERE ALSO EMPTY.

If, after you are finished questioning and experimenting with gender/sexuality, you figure out that you are straight and/or cisgender, that is completely okay. Your time spent figuring yourself out was not wasted or in vain, and you weren’t “faking it” the whole time. You’re just as valid as anyone else.

Far from wasted. Somebody who spends time thinking about it is more secure in their own sexuality and gender identity - and I think that makes them less likely to judge others.
