I miss swimming. I'd usually never admit it, but I do. My body is not welcome in those places anymore. Maybe when the sun goes down, and everyone has gone home, I'll slip into my lace and frills and cracked leather. I'll walk down to the empty shore, and with only the moon above as my witness, I'll walk into those frigid waters. I'll swim out towards the horizon, and as seawater fills my lungs, I'll sink.

Gender-swapped ERIK design :3 (Based on ALW poto!) I replaced the cape with a shoulder jacket and hat because the dress already holds the shillouette and the jacket looks intimidating. Erik is quite a baroque dandy anyways so she'd probably be the same, and also gave the mask some glamour :3

Hey does anyone remember when a transgender adult man with cerebral palsy got top surgery of his own accord and then posted about it in celebration, and then transphobes:

Lied and said he was non-verbal

Lied and said he was incapable of communication

Lied and said he had not gotten the surgery of his own accord

Lied and said his "guardians decided [he] was trans"

Got MGT to call a procedure done on a consenting adult "criminal" just because he had cerebral palsy

Mass reported his video and his account, which he ran, until facebook terminated his account for "child exploitation" despite it being his account, him being an adult, and him not being exploited

Ableism and transphobia are inseperable. Just like ableism was used to prop up bigotry throughout history, now it is being used to deny transgender people bodily autonomy the same way it is used to deny disabled people bodily autonomy. It's not a coincidence that so much of the rights transphobic rhetoric is focused on labelling us as "mentally ill". They don't think any disabled people, let alone mentally ill people should have independence or liberation.

if disabled and mentally ill people were treated with respect, autonomy, and aid so would every other minority.

-women, gay, trans, poc, etc all get dehumanised by being called mentally ill, having their medical rights taken, being revoked of their agencies, targets about arguement of being biologically inferior or not existing. their life's importance centering the people outside of that group. etc... and most importantly; all seen as not being people by the people most vicious to them; and the 'nicer' towards them which are still predujiced treat them as saviours, 'rolemodels', still stripping them of their personhood outside their group and decisions.

all that predujice mirrors disabled people exactly. Its no coincidence that in genocide (example; holocaust) disabled people are targetted earliest. when times are tough in terms of equality disabled people die first.

WIP tadc redesigns for the funzies :3

-gangle, i thought it would be cool if she could store art stuff in her ribbons.

-Zooble i thought a chimera would have a similar gimmic and also i like the idea of them being a big grumpy dragon

-Ragatha is more inspired by 1800s doll designs. also shes a goat now because she is THE GOAT

-pomni, basically just exageratted her hat and gave her patterning more medieval inspiration. pomni is such a complicated and rounded out indivisual so i wanted to make her a little michevious but still calm and kind. i hope that shows.

-JAX i wanted to give her (or he, i hc her as transfem) the stuffed animal feature ragatha has because it would fit her hiding herself / her flaws i thought. the colouring will improve her but the chest-cloth thing is to hide her heart. Despite her being sympathetic i still wanted to make her design sharp as shes still a huge dickhead

-cane, i wanted to intergrate the wires into his outfit bcuz hes an ai.

-Kinger, lowkey his design is perfect perfect (all of them are already tbh) and i couldnt rlly think of what to change rlly, i just widened his shape language tbh...
