Marilyn Monroe wasn’t just one of the most beautiful people ever—she was also one of the kindest. And she made a lot of sense. She rejected a marriage offer in her early days that would have made her very, very rich—to pursue acting. She was natural, down to earth: and genuinely funny. All those sassy quotes you see on Pinterest are fake: she didn’t pretend to know how the world worked. She wasn’t Mae West.‬

Sexy pics aside, the truth is I’ve always looked up to her. She had more balls than I do. She took on Hollywood all by herself—fighting for equal pay and artistic control—when no other actor dared to. She wasn’t a giggly, dumb Lorelei, she had a vision, she belonged to the future. As I said, she made a lot of sense; and one day I hope to show just how much.

Arthur Returns AU

Merlin is determined to wait as long as it takes for Arthur’s return, but when Camelot is once again threatened, Merlin loses his life defending Queen Guinevere from the attack. A thousand years into the future, Merlin is reborn but with no memories of his past life.
