anyone else have the problem where you just wanna talk about what’s going on in your brain (in my case rn a boy) but you realise you talk to your friends about it like everyday and don’t wanna keep annoying them?? but like writing it in your notes is fine but you need that back and forth to get it out of your brain?

✨ positive things about online school ✨

I’m absolutely dreading the upcoming semester because, for me, it’s going to be all online :( so as a way to hopefully make things better I’m making a list of all the positive aspects of online school 

recorded lectures mean that you can listen at your own pace

you can pause, rewind, fast forward lectures, you will be able to understand lectures better, learn at your own pace, and not miss any details

no commute time

my commute time is usually 80 min to and from school on a good-light-traffic day, now that I don’t have to travel to campus I can dedicate that time to sleeping in, studying, or anything else

saving money on food

walking around campus there’s always some yummy food place and that little voice in my head going “treat yourself”, I hope to take this opportunity of being at home to try out new recipes and eat healthier

my own washroom

although I love studying at the libraries on campus, almost all the washrooms are a health hazard in themselves, so it’s going to be nice to use my own washroom at home 

taking naps in the middle of the day

I do this during a normal semester but on an abandoned bench or like in class, and I probably end up on someone’s snapchat story with the caption “school got me like” so it’ll be nice to take a nap whenever I want on my own bed 

staying in PJs

having to get up early and put on “presentable” clothing and/or layers upon layers for harsh winter days can be very uncomfortable and sometimes just exhausting, so I’m looking forward to staying cozy and comfy in PJs 

listening to lectures on my bed 

I’m always complaining about how uncomfortable lecture theatre chairs are and how great it would be if I was able to listen to lectures from my bed…I guess my wish came true 

my biggest fear for online school would be feeling demotivated and detached resulting in falling behind and not completing the school work I need to, I know this upcoming semester I really have to level up my self-discipline game 

please add what you’re looking forward to if you’re going to be doing school online in the upcoming semester and also what you’re most scared of or dreading
