Eddie often felt like he and Richie were two magnets, repelling each other fiercely until one of them twisted the right way and suddenly they were slamming together brutally, yelling (and laughing, or yell-laughing, or what was the difference anyway?) at the top of their lungs. Eddie wanted to be around him all the time, just like when they were kids, but the feeling felt violent. Like when you see a cute baby or a puppy and you feel so savagely endeared that you want to take the adorable little thing in your hands and just fucking crush it.

Stiles is an actor, a pretty famous one. For some reason he’s no longer friends with the pack. I think he plays Jason Todd at some point? Derek has seen all his movies & maybe kept clippings of magazines and interviews about Stiles? There are mini-flashbacks throughout the fic from Stiles’ movies. It mighttt be canon divergent, like the events of canon happen and the fic takes place when they're all adults. He has to come home for some reason and reunions and falling in love happen.
A shot in the dark if there are any surviving Teen Wolf fans that can help me!

1. FOUND: Between Men and Lions - Standinginanicedress *deleted* College AU. No Supernatural. Derek and Stiles meet at college. Stiles is studying classics with a focus in ancient greece. He has multiple copies and translations of The Odyssey & lends one to Derek (maybe a different greek epic?). He has a big tattoo of a sea creature, maybe a tattoo of Achilles as well? Derek obsesses over him & they hook up but Derek insists he’s not gay or bi & he won’t be seen with Stiles in public. It’s very angsty, Derek POV with a lot of internalized homophobia/biphobia. Near the end, Derek buys Stiles tickets to Greece as a present, but they do not end up going together. I love this fic so much, I can’t find it on AO3 - I think it may have been deleted.
2. FOUND: Kiss It Better, Kiss It Back Together - rossroadswrite Canon compliant AU. Oneshot. Amnesia fic where Derek and Stiles are cursed with temporary amnesia that can only be cured by true love’s kiss. They are each other’s “true love,” but technically can’t remember/cure each other. It might be Outsider POV? They kiss and get their memories back & Erica says something about how for that to work they would have to fall in love with each other immediately. It’s very cute & short, I read it a long time ago but obviously it stuck with me!
3. FOUND: As the Lights Go Down - Standinginanicedress *deleted* Non-canon supernatural AU. In this world, almost all the characters are alive, including the Hale pack. Derek and Kate are divorced, she’s still creepy, but there was no Hale fire or anything. Stiles is a BAMF mage or maybe emissary for Scott’s pack? But he’s so powerful that he’s seen as creepy/dark by the town. One of the first times they meet, Stiles & Derek break into Kate’s house and mess up her clothes. Stiles has some sort of magical life force & there is a Big Bad in town sucking magical force from people. The magical life force is a physical ball of light & at the end, Derek has to scoop it up and put it back in Stiles. Only he can do it because Stiles trusts him the most! This fic is so wonderful, but it also may be deleted - I would love to read it again.
