I know it’s literally about the greek g-ds, but anger at G-d mood is the Lightning Thief Musical, espcially The Campfire Song
THANK YOU. I've always hated it when Christians try to combat antisemitism with "But Jesus was a Jew!" So the one Jew you're going to make a point about liking intentionally broke off from Judaism (i.e. he was a heretic), lived 2000 years ago, and is completely irrelevant to Jews and Judaism? Cool. Why not "Albert Einstein was a Jew!" or if they want to use a biblical figure, "Moses was a Jew!" or someone else relevant to both religions?
It’s like a weird dehumanization that doesn’t feel like dehumanization. Like when people say that men shouldn’t be sexist because they have a mother or a sister or a daughter. How about don’t be sexist because women are people? How about: don’t be antisemitic not because Jesus was a Jew, but because Jews are people. People aren’t worthy only because of how they relate to others, they’re worthy because everyone should be treated with basic respect and dignity.
Writing Commissions!
I am opening writing commissions, as the title says.
For those that do not know me, I am Jacob, and I am a full time college student in the USA, who is LGBTQ+ and mentally ill. I love to write, and am actually going to school for Dramatic Writing (i.e. films, plays, and t.v.). College is expensive, and my parents will not cover grad school, so I need to start saving, hence why I am opening commissions.
Poems, like this one, are $5
I can do fan fiction, and I tend to focus on Marvel comics and movies, and Gravity Falls.
Here is one of my best X-men works, and here is a Gravity Falls one. Some of these are unfinished, I admit, but that is simply because I prefer dramatic to creative writing.
Speaking of, here is an original 10 minute play, and here is a page of a full length. Plays would be $1 a page.
I can also do TV shows or screenplays, and can combine Dramatic Writing and fandom, as shown by this scene from my version of a Young Avengers (a comic) TV show, shown here. T.V shows and Screenplays are between $1 a page, with a special offer of $20 for 30 pages.
Any questions, feel free to ask.
Here also is my kofi, in case you just like what you see.
@angryjewishsuggestion and @goy-bullshit-translator are going to be a jew-per hero team, and I really want to join. ,So here’s a Super Jew moodboard! ‘Cuz with all the shit we go through, we really are super heroes (plus only jews can make superheroes)
I'm seventeen and I think I'm gay and I'm so scared that HaShem hates me and that I'll never be accepted as part of a Jewish community
HaShem doesn’t hate you <3 <3 <3 There are lots of us lgbt Jews out here. <3 <3 Btw have you looked into resources like JQY (Jewish Queer Youth) or Eshel?
God doesn’t hate you! I grew up with so many gay Jews in my synagogue and I’m bi myself. You can be gay and Jewish!
Hey anon! Another resource you could look to is Keshet. HaShem definitely loves you and all of us LGBTQ Jews <3 No matter what anyone else tells you, your sexuality is not bad or wrong and HaShem would not hate you for being gay.
i’m bi & trans and i know that i am loved :) there are gay & trans & lesbian & bi rabbis, and cantors, and torah scribes. i really like TorahQueeries, and its not too expensive!
A lot of organizations are springing up right now to bridge the gap between LGBTQ youth and traditional Judaism. JQY is doing some really great work, and there’s also Torah Trumps Hate and the Welcoming Shuls Project. One of the great things about Judaism is the pluralism that spans every denomination/community - there aren’t just all kinds of congregations; there are all kinds of Orthodox congregations (and Conservative/Reform/Renewal/Reconstructionist/etc).
Even if you can’t check out one of these places in person right now, a lot of them have very active social media presences that can help you feel less alone and help you become better-informed about the options that are out there. I wish you the best in whatever you decide to do. <3
There’s also TransTorah for all my trans jewish loves! Just know that HaShem loves you deeply. As a gay, trans man, I feel deep in my heart I am loved by this community, and by HaShem as well

CHEESE? ……. KETCHUP??????????
I was allowed to bring my grandma’s menorah back to school with me, and I think it’s beautiful. It’s from Israel, apperantly. Also, my star of david necklace came in today, so here’s an unexpected and rare selfie. It’s fuzzy, but I got it from traditions jewish gifts. It is silver with blue in it, and I am very proud and excited to have it! 6/7 nights till Chanukah (depends how you count)!!!
FYI
If you bring up zionsim on every post about Jewish people needing help, your antisemtic and an asshole.
soo u just gonna scroll past without saying shalom?
impulse bought a star of david and chai ring, since my hebrew name is chaim
