POV jud and blanc’s twitter exchange before wick’s murder.
some of my favorite wake up dead man reviews (so far)
honorable mention:
Diversity win! Local Catholic priest is gay! and a murderer!
if i came to investigate a case and the main suspect was named “judas duplicitous” i’d throw in the towel dude
somebody sedate me,
part 2 !!
I have been thinking about Vera from Wake up dead man and I love the similarities between her and Grace
Vera says this about Grace "and I've been thinking about what her life must've been like to be trapped in a house with her father and her son closing rank. Shaming her and teaching us all the shame her." Which is exactly what happened to her. Also she is the first one to say that poor girl which later helps Martha understand Grace. In my opinion Vera is the most important suspect and she went through so much
that poor girl
wake up dead man // the creation of adam
when i’m in the “guilt-ridden for things i did not do wrong” competition and my opponent is jud duplenticy.
Just rewatched Glass Onion and GODDDDD why does no one talk about the notebook??? The fact that the thing that saved Helen’s life was Andi’s notebook? Her “notes for future biographers”? The fact that her legacy was shot by the man who killed her, but she got the last laugh by shielding her sister from meeting her fate? And it’s worth noting that after this scene, Helen never again pretends to be Andi, because she is well and truly dead now. Andi essentially gave her life (her notebook) to protect Helen.
Together, they got the son of a bitch.
this is basically what happened from the flock’s pov right
WUDM textposts part ?/??: I'm out of control
my actual favorite scene in wake up dead man is the one where jud is on the phone with the woman from the construction company and she asks him to pray for her, the sudden turn from humor to complete seriousness without it feeling like a tonal whiplash is really really good
what if you were a DETECTIVE and you were GAY and an ATHEIST because you have NEGATIVE EXPERIENCES with the CHURCH and you got called to come investigate a MURDER and the main suspect is a PRIEST but he throws you off because he’s HOT and KIND and got a NECK TATTOO and his LIPS are cracked with DEHYDRATION and he’s been KNEELING and CRYING all night and you immediately deduce that he’s INNOCENT even though literally everyone in the town including the CHIEF OF POLICE thinks he’s GUILTY but you know the TRUTH and you get him to HELP YOU solve the MURDER and also SHOW YOU how spirituality can be a source of true LOVE and COMFORT for some and he reminds you of the inherent GOODNESS of humanity and even though you’re still an ATHEIST and he’s still a HOT PRIEST both of you are fundamentally CHANGED for the BETTER did i mention he’s got a NECK TATTOO
WHATEVER THEY SAID
shane and ilya may not change their names legally after they marry but i know ilya makes all their dinner and vacation reservations under hollander. i know he's ilya hollander in his heart of hearts. to him they are The Hollander Household. they send christmas cards with 'love, the hollanders'. it's real to me
