I’m so excited about the new house. Not posting picture because… internet… but i’m so excited!! It has more than 2 acres of land and it’s in our school district and has number of bedrooms we need and doesn’t have a basement to flood and I get my bathtub
We put an offer on a house. It was already under contingent contract from someone else but they had in their contract that they needed to sell their own house before closing. Contract gave them 48 hours to come back with an offer without that contingency so here’s to hoping they don’t???
Ahhhh we got the house!!!
Had steak and arugula salad for supper tonight with a sesame-ginger dressing. Delicious! There was enough for meal prep for lunch tomorrow 🤤 Filing this away as a good meal prep option.
This was the dressing I used- it tasted just like the salad dressing at my favorite hibachi place!

Ran my first 5K ever without stopping! My goal was to do 30 minutes without stopping but at about 20 minutes in I was still feeling good and thought I could probably make it to 5K if I pushed it and I did it! It was a beautiful night- not ridiculously hot and a little bit of a breeze.

Workout from earlier this week- it was raining and I couldn’t get out of the house because hubby was busy so I did these youtube videos. I feel like my dancing is significantly worse than it used to be but I got a sweat in and I had fun.
Fun fact: 1989 is my favorite Taylor Swift album so I had to do that workout!
We’re staying with my in-laws for a few days due to some issues with our house and I had to escape to the gym even though it was a 30 minute drive away because… I needed to. Needed to do some heavy work so pulled back in Pendlay Rows into my workout- the clank setting them down is pretty satisfying. I made this up as I went but really liked it- I think it’s time to come up with a new split for July/August as I’ve been on the current one for about 2 months.
Worked out back to back because I knew I wouldn’t be able to later in the week. My legs were still a little sore from the week before so I wanted to focus more on hitting upper body hard.
My longest run ever and it felt great! Look at how beautiful the sky was! I ran for 2 miles straight and then did walk/run intervals for the other 2 miles. I was pumped because my breathing felt in control pretty much the whole time which is where I struggle.
Y’all we’ve pretty much decided we have to move too because our basement almost flooded again and I’ve been rage cleaning my house this weekend. Turns out the thought of having to keep your house clean for showings is the best motivator to organize and get rid of things.

First workout back in a week since we had terrible storms and flooding for 3 days and then hubby was out of town. It’s also stupid hot where I am (it feels like you’re inside an easy bake oven when you step outside).
