Kaeya is so Nightwing sometimes especially in "Night of the owls"
Richard Grayson was supposed to be "the Gray Son" but his fate was changed the night Bruce Wayne took him under his wing and became Robin. He's the descendant of William Cobb, a Talon for the Court of Owls (an underground society that controls Gotham from the shadows), kinda immortal and can regenerate. (much like the cursed of immortality)
In Volume 2, Cobb expressed his disappointment at Richard because Richard wasn't a good enough fighter than him. "Very disappointing, little birdie. Very disappointing indeed," he uttered.
Richard eventually got the upper hand, and said, "Well, what can I say? I guess I'm no owl."
Cobb then said that the the ultimate betrayal he witnessed that night was incomparable because this betrayal took everything he sacrificed and made it worthless.
"This betrayal is from my own descendant, which is why I, William Cobb, am here to kill Richard Grayson."
"As much as you believe it's your choice what you can become in Gotham, it's important to realise what your place could've been. And all that was sacrificed in order to produce that future."
"Richard Grayson——the great betrayer of Gotham's heritage. My blood. My heir. Such a waste."
"Guess we'll have to agree to disagree there," Richard retorted.
"Then show me, Richard——show me what you've become. Impress me."
"I am the greatest Talon of them all." Much fitting when Anfortas was the Knight Marshal (the highest ranking knight?)
"Did it hurt when he hit you? When he rejected you?" Makes sense when Diluc is the Dark Knight Hero, Mondstadt's Batman lol. Iykyk
"Raise him with Haly in secret, prepare him for the legacy. My son, the Gray Son of Gotham."
"You've become a second rate imitation of a naive man, it's pathetic for a Grayson."
"Do you understand the significance of what you could have become, Richard? The significance of what you've betrayed? It's not simply that you were chosen by the Court to help save Gotham... "I'll tell you what I embrace, William. What I embrace is that destinies don't exist," Richard says after defeating Cobb.
