Gai Zhao - after having to leave his friends and Tri City, he started living life as a nomad, traveling with his own small group (a monk called Liue, a pig shaped shifter Jei, and a fish monster called Yuna). He now wears a theatrical disguise to hide his identity

Shenle Qing - a nine-tailed fox spirit living with other magical creatures in the forest. She's shy and quiet, but her silence radiates strength and wisdom that contrasts with her sly and fast nature

So, when you say your hot take is that GaiYo is forced, is it because they are a thing purely because of their IRL counterparts?

Of course not, because the relationship in their real life counterparts are more natural and actually looks more romantic than in RMA. Gai kept pushing Miyo's boundaries even though she makes it VERY clear she doesn't like him that way. She sees him as a teammate or a nuisance at worst. The ship is forced, because theirs no actually chemistry between them. The writers are just forcing them together for Gaiyo bait
