We believe the things we tell ourselves
During this time in my life things seem crazy. I am working on my inner dialog. We do honestly believe the things we tell ourselves. So I must give myself some real credit. The struggles Iâve experienced up until now, I have been able to figure things out. I find myself in positions where my back may feel pressed against the wall. Sometimes I have to come out swinging, in order to make things happen in my favor. At the end of the day, the way we speak to ourselves matters and has a direct effect on our actions. Motivation isnât always my go to, but I have the ability to be optimistic when I really need it. My main challenge right now seems to be finding the inner strength to keep pushing forward. Being able to keep myself grounded has its upâs and downâs. At one point I can feel like I have a real handle on things, and then in the same moment I can feel helpless and out of control. No matter how I am feeling, in my mind it all feels real. So since I am the only one who can control my thought and thinking pattern, it is time to use my powers for good. This time around I have to not let my anxiety or negativity cloud my better judgement. Basically not letting the bad outweigh the good, in my mind. The power of thought is so real, but I only recognize it when things are going so far left in a bad way. Readjusting my thought pattern and unlearning some of my negative patterns has been such a challenge. No one else will do it but me, I am the only voice in my head. (thank God) So my ability to redirect myself is all in my hands. I did not make it all the way to 32 years old by being consistently one way. Iâve always had to regroup and try things again in a new or different way. So thats what my plan is, I have to switch things up. I am not going to grow by staying in my comfort zone of thoughts. Nor am I going to get a different result from doing the same things over and over again. I believe that this next chapter of my life will be as amazing as I make it. Things wont be sunshine and unicorns all of the time, but I need to tell myself that things wont stay bad for long. As long as I keep telling my self good things will happen, they will actually happen. The power of thought is real, I am just working on using it to my advantage. Hopefully Iâm not alone.Â
