I’m trying to have hope for the country right now I just feels so hopeless like they literally have ALL of the power the money, the politicians , the majority of voters voted for this it kind ruins one faith in living to see a better future

A lot of us feel this way right now you’re not alone, it won’t be like this forever. I wish I could tell you more but I’m scared too it’s difficult to have hope but the moment hope is lost they win

I know everyone is saying don’t be afraid right now (including myself) but it’s really difficult to stay hopeful, it’s gonna be a long 4 years. 😔

I have no doubt in my mind that we can do it, but it’s also ok to be afraid and be a little weary of the future as long as that does not stop you from trying to make a change.

Protest preparedness

Hey yall if you’re planning on going to protests in your area be sure you’re being safe and wearing the correct gear. I’f you have a bulletproof vest wear it, get an n95 mast and ski goggles to protect your identity and to protect you from tear gas, wear a helmet, if you decide to decorate anything be sure to dispose of it if something goes down because the decoration can be used to identify you.

Here’s a short video of what to have in a first aid pack.

Be safe, make it home, show the oligarchy we won’t go down without a fight.

It is Americans constitutional right to overthrow the government if it’s corrupt 🤷‍♀️

Also if you can afford it make sure you have a good lawyer, if you cannot afford it make sure that you don’t get caught

Never talk to police no matter what, even if they’re trying to have a conversation keep your mouth shut they’ll do anything to get you convicted

You have to assume no cops are your friends

There’s a lot more information out there, if you do more research get a vpn and make sure it’s on before you go googling stuff about protesting

so the first screenshot is trying to look this up on tiktok normally, "donald trump rigged election" and it says that search violates community guidelines.

the second screenshot is looking up the same exact thing, but with a (australian) vpn on. canadian vpn didn't fix it fyi.

THIS is exactly the type of censorship to be looking out for on tiktok. this actually is crazy.

TikTok is now censoring / removing videos that mention anything anti tiktok / trump or are even remotely political and making it harder for vital information to spread. I have an AUS vpn turned on and get multiple messages telling me to ‘check my sources’ before sharing and limiting the amount of people I can directly send the video to. Absolutely fact checking is important, but make no mistake, this change is NOT about stopping the ‘spread of misinformation’ and more about containing the fire that’s been lit.
