I want to see gon and ging have at least one father son training arc.

Just to really show us what could’ve been if ging had been willing to stay still for once.

I’d like to see them both be a bit melancholic about the time they’ve missed together. Even if neither of them would change a thing. (well ging might not regret it. Not sure about gon)

These guys are my favorite. I miss them.

I like to think it makes him happy having someone openly admire him enough to chase him.

Headcanon that Mito is just as physically gifted as gon. she just grew up comparing herself to ging so she never knew.

In addition, the reason ging always found her first is because he trusted her ability to do things normal kids can’t.

And this ends up with me hoping ging actually expected Mito to follow him when he left. Just like she always did.

MAJOR CHAINSAW MAN SPOILERS

Anyone else feel like the tone of the ending is kinda off? It seems like a pleasant reunion, but isn’t it messed up from denjis perspective?

He doesn’t know these people anymore. Powers just a devil who spared his life on a whim. She literally owns him. Their entire relationship was erased.

She even refers to him as her pet which we know he hates.

Nayuta isn’t his little sister anymore. She’s just his boss who ALSO owns him.

He’s missing organs, he’s still a slave, and worst of all he can’t even run away. He’s bound to power by contract.

Maybe there’s something I’m missing, but it seems pretty bleak.

Personally I think this is a set up for a continuation, but I guess we’ll see.

A continuation would undermine the one thing this ending has going for it. (The sense that everyone involved can have a normal life, without worrying about the abnormal level of devil bullshit Pochita and Yoru brought to Denji and Asa) So there's a theoretical Chainsaw Man continuation that would make me feel better about CSM in general, but it would make me feel worse about the ending specifically.

The ending might sit better if we had more time to see how Denji's relationship with Power and Nayuta and so forth. But that would also undermine the open-ended ambiguity that the ending is going for. Maybe there's no good way to make this ending work.

Anyways, yeah, Denji's health issues are something that just aren't addressed.

I know Pochita said Denji "can only find heaven when [he's] in hell," but I think maybe he could have found happiness more easily in a reality where Pochita's devil powers healed Denji's heart condition and such. Maybe shonen action angst is better than malnutrition and such.

Honestly yeah, I can’t be satisfied with this at all if it’s actually the ending.

That’s why I trust in fujimoto to give me that part 3.

I think cain is immortal. Not because he was cursed with it, but because the Eden humans were all immortal and he’s their only living first generation child.

Adam tells Alastor “a mortal soul is no match for me edgelord” which would be pretty weird to say if he wasn’t immortal.

It could be Adam being cocky as usual, but then I look at Lilith. Lilith, who can reproduce unlike every other sinner. Lilith who seemingly never died of old age.

I think cain reproduced with mortal humans and that’s why modern humans are also mortal.

I have a few theories about where the mortal humans came from, so I’ll stick with this until we get more info.
